IRCTC Divya Dakshin Yatra With Arunachalam Package: There is good news for the devotees who wish to visit the famous pilgrimage sites of South India. Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation has come up with a special religious travel package, under which passengers will be able to visit many major temples and religious places of South India in a single journey. This journey will be organized through Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train and arrangements for travel, food, accommodation and other facilities will be included in advance.

How many days will this journey take?

IRCTC has named this special tour package as ‘Divya Dakshin Yatra with Arunachalam’. This journey will start from July 20 and will last for a total of 8 nights and 9 days. The package code of this tour is SCZBG-63. Seats have been arranged for a total of 702 passengers in the train, which includes sleeper, third AC and second AC classes. The journey will start from Secunderabad Railway Station. However, keeping in mind the convenience of passengers, boarding and deboarding facilities have been provided at many other stations also. Passengers will also be able to board this train from Charlapalli, Jangaon, Kazipet, Warangal, Mahabubabad, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur and Renigunta stations.

Which places can be visited?

During this spiritual journey, devotees will be given darshan of seven major religious places of South India. These include the famous Arunachaleshwar Temple of Tiruvannamalai, Nataraja Temple of Chidambaram, Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple of Trichy, Brihadeeswarar Temple of Thanjavur, Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple of Rameshwaram, Meenakshi Amman Temple of Madurai and Kumari Amman Temple of Kanyakumari. Travelers will also be able to see Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanyakumari.

How much will it cost?

The price of the package is decided according to the travel category. For adult passengers, the sleeper class fare has been kept at Rs 15,600, 3AC at Rs 23,100 and 2AC at Rs 29,500. Whereas for children aged between 5 to 11 years, the sleeper fare has been fixed at Rs 14,600, 3AC at Rs 21,900 and 2AC at Rs 28,100.

What facilities are included?

The special thing about this tour package is that many facilities are included in the ticket price. Passengers will be provided breakfast, lunch and dinner during the journey. Apart from this, all passengers will also get the benefit of travel insurance. Trained tour escorts will be on hand to assist travelers throughout the journey.
