Starlink, which provides satellite internet service of Billionaire Elon Musk, may soon launch its service in the country. Starlink may get Global Mobile Communication by Satellite (GMPCS) license from the Telecom Department (DOT).

This license allows satellite based network service providers to install satellite terminals. A media report states that Starlinks were given a deadline to fulfill the conditions related to the Security Compliance in the letter of intent (Loi) by June 7 and the company has completed it. However, this does not mean that Starlink service can begin immediately. This report states that the company will have to install gateways. This is a network operations center and may take a few months.

Starlink will have to take the final approval from the Inter-Menristial Standing Committee. After this the company will be allotted provisional spectrum. However, Kuiper, a project related to the satellite internet service of American technology company Amazon, has not received approval to start service in the country. Amazon has not been released by DOT for this service. Starlink is developed by Musk’s rocket company Spacex. It is providing high-speed broadband internet service in many countries using satellite technology. Geostationary satellites are used for general internet services. In contrast, Starlinks uses the largest low meaning orbit consultation.

Telecom companies like Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel have said that if the price of satellite spectrum is kept low then it will harm their business. These companies say that this can benefit Starlink companies. Last month, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) proposed to pay four percent of their annual revenue to the central government for satellite internet service providers. Starlinks lobbied for not auctioning the satellite spectrum. This company said that licenses should be given according to the international trend for this. Starlinks argued that this is a natural resource that companies associated with communication should share.
<!--

Satellite internet services may start soon in the country. However, earlier telecom companies like Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel have said that if the price of satellite spectrum is kept low then it will harm their business. This can benefit companies providing satellite internet service like Billionaire Elon Musk’s Starlink.

Last month, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) proposed to pay four percent of their annual revenue to the central government for satellite internet service providers. Starlinks lobbied for not auctioning the satellite spectrum. Starlink said that licenses should be given for this as per the International Trend. The company argued that this is a natural resource whose communication companies should share.

A report by Reuters states that the Cellular Operators Association of India, in a letter to the Telecom Ministry later last month, has demanded a review of this proposal related to pricing of satellite spectrum. The letter states that satellite internet service providers about 21 percent more to the spectrum than the price for internet service providers. Reuters have seen this letter. It said, “The spectrum should be equally or compared per mHz price per mHz price.”

In this regard, Reliance Jio and Airtel did not answer the request sent by Reuters for comments. Starlink was not available for comment about this. A senior government official told Reuters that the Telecom Ministry is reviewing TRAI’s suggestions. He said that such apprehensions have been raised by the telecom industry before. Over the years, Reliance Jio and other telecom companies have spent about $ 20 billion to get 5G spectrum in auction for telecom, data and broadband service. Reliance Jio demanded auction for satellite spectrum. <!--

India has made a lot of progress in the telecom sector over the years. After the launch of 5G service in the country, preparations are being made for 6G. India has joined the top six countries in the patent fileings for this next-generation telecom network. Projects related to 6G are being promoted by the central government.

Minister of State for Communications, Chandra Sekhar Pemmasani at India 6G conference told That funding of more than Rs 300 crore has been approved for more than 110 projects associated with it. “The 6G operating on terahertz frequency is up to one terabyte per second. It is about 100 times faster than 5G,” he said. Chandra Sekhar said that there is a large talent pool in the country and there is no reason that the country does not get a leading place in 6G. He said, “Communications will be secured by doing indigenous 6G technology development. This will also strengthen India’s position on technology at international level.”

Recently, a press release of India Brand Equity Foundation stated that 6G technology will form new industries and there will be a big change in the current industries. This is expected to contribute about one billion dollars by 2035 in the country’s economy.

India is also moving rapidly with satellite internet services. Recently, the government has received permission to provide satellite communication services to Billionaire Elon Musk’s Starlink. The Telecom Department (DOT) has issued a letter of introduction (LOI) to Starlink for this. Starlink is developed by Musk’s rocket company Spacex. It provides high-speed broadband internet service in many countries using satellite technology. Geostationary satellites are used for general internet services. In contrast, Starlinks uses the largest low meaning orbit consultation. Jio Satellite Communications and Eultsat Onweb have already received licenses for this service. These companies will be able to start this service after spectrum is allotch for this. <!--

The number of subscribers of government telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has increased. BSNL has received around 48,177 new subscribers in March. The first place of Reliance Jio in the telecom market remains intact. However, Vodafone Idea has suffered a major loss in terms of number of subscribers.

According to the data from the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI), Reliance Jio has received around 21.74 lakh new subscribers in March. The total number of subscribers of the company has increased to around 49.97 crores. The second largest telecom company Bharti Airtel has added about 12.50 lakh new subscribers in March. The total number of Airtel subscribers was about 38.98 crores at the end of March.

However, the difficulty for Vodafone Idea (VI) has increased. VI has lost about 5.41 lakh subscribers in March. Its total subscribers have come down to about 20.53 crores. Government telecom company BSNL has added about 49,177 new subscribers in March. BSNL had a total of about 9.10 crore subscribers at the end of March. In February, the company suffered a loss of over 5.60 lakh subscribers. The 4G network of BSNL may soon be launched across the country. Recently, Tata Group’s company Tejas Networks has completed the supply of telecom equipment for one lakh 4G sites to BSNL. This order was worth Rs 7,492 crore.

The BSNL aims to launch 4G service in June. After this, the company will upgrade 4G sites and launch 5G network. The company has used indigenous technology for 4G network. Recently, telecom minister Jyotiraditya Scindia had reported that BSNL’s 4G network will be upgraded to 5G from June. India has joined five such countries in the world that have developed their 4G technology. The government aims to expand this expertise up to 5G. Earlier, the company was allowed to fund Rs 6,000 crore for expansion of 4G network to the central government. This fund will also be used for the company’s 4G network of subsidiary metropolitan telephone corporations (MTNL).
<!--

The 4G network of government telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) can soon be launched across the country. Tata Group’s company Tejas Networks has completed the supply of telecom equipment for one lakh 4G sites to BSNL. This order was worth Rs 7,492 crore.

The BSNL aims to launch 4G service in June. After this, the company will upgrade 4G sites and launch 5G network. Tejas Networks It has been said that BSNL has been supplied telecom equipment for one lakh sites. The company received the deal after a detailed trial as part of the Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) -led consortium.

Earlier, funding of Rs 6,000 crore was approved to the company towards the central government for expansion of 4G network. This fund will also be used for the company’s 4G network of subsidiary metropolitan telephone corporations (MTNL). MTNL, which provides telecom services in Delhi and Mumbai, has control company.

The 5G network of big telecom companies like Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel is present in a large part of the country. To compete with these companies, BSNL needs to launch 5G service soon. BSNL workers have prepared to protest against the delay in the launch of 4G services and 5G networks. The company’s workers are also angry with the poor performance of fiber-to-hom (FTTH) and delay in the Central Government’s Bharatnet project. BSNL workers will begin the performance on 16 May with the signature campaign. Millions of customers of this government telecom company have shifted to Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel’s network over the years. This has caused BSNL to suffer a major loss of revenue.

Workers of government telecom company Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) have prepared to protest against the delay in the launch of 4G services and 5G networks. BSNL workers are also angry with the poor performance of fiber-to-home (FTTH) and delay in the central government’s Bharatnet project.

In the last few years, millions of customers of this government telecom have shifted to big telecom companies like Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel. This has caused a major loss of revenue to BSNL. The Bharatiya Mazdoor Sanchar Manch has written in a letter to the company’s CMD, Robert J Ravi, “Despite the full support of the government, there is a delay in launching 4G and 5G services. The attitude of the management and its connected vendors is the main reason behind this. Due to this, a large number of subscribers are missing and rehew is being damaged.”

BSNL workers will begin the performance on 16 May with the signature campaign. Apart from this, there will be a sit -in at all corporate offices of the company. The company’s 5G service can be launched soon. Recently, the Telecom Department (DOT) has allocated a spectrum of Rs 61,000 crore to BSNL. The company’s 5G service can be started from the capital Delhi. BSNL has found spectrum in premium bands such as 700 MHz and 3,300 MHz, which is important for 5G.

Reliance Jio and Bharti Airtel’s 5G network is present in large parts of the country. To compete with these companies, BSNL needs to launch 5G service soon. Recently, telecom minister Jyotiraditya Scindia had said that BSNL has added 55 lakh new subscribers in the last six to seven months. He had said that efforts are being made to bring the company back into profit and increase the number of subscribers. Earlier, BSNL was approved by the central government for a funding of Rs 6,000 crore for expansion of 4G network. This fund will also be used for the company’s 4G network of subsidiary metropolitan telephone corporations (MTNL). The control of MTNL, which provides telecom services in Delhi and Mumbai, is also with BSNL.
<!--

Through this service, BSNL’s target is to compete with private telecom companies like Bharti Airtel. Earlier, Bharti Airtel started the SIM card delivery service. For this, the company has tied-up with Blinkit. To book BSNL’s SIM online, customers have to visit the company’s official partner website: https://prune.co.in/. On completion of this booking, the company’s SIM will be delivered to the customers within 90 minutes.

For the first time from June to February this year from June to February this year, about 8.55 crore subscribers of the company have increased to about 9.1 crore subscribers. The company has reduced the cost along with increasing its revenue. BSNL has also prepared to improve its services. For this, the company had determined April as ‘Customer Service Month’. In this, an attempt will be made to improve their experience by taking feedback from customers using the company’s services across the country. The company plans to upgrade 4G network to 5G from June. The company has a target to launch about one lakh 4G sites by June. Of these, about 89,000 4G sites have been installed.

Bharti Airtel, one of the big telecom companies, is preparing to increase the coverage of the 5G network. The company plans to increase coverage to meet the increasing demand for data. Along with this, Bharti Airtel has decided not to make new investment in 4G network.

The company’s managing director, Gopal Vittal said, “The expansion of 5G coverage is going on as per the plan. At the end of the last quarter we had a 5G base of 12 million subscribers. The share of 5G smartphones in the total shipments of the smartphone has increased to more than 80 percent. We are benefiting from it.” He said that there has been a decrease in Bharti Airtel’s capital experience in the current financial year. In the last quarter, the company has installed about 5,200 towers and about 16,300 mobile broadband stations to increase its network and improve the experience of customers.

Recently Bharti Enterprises reported that it is ready to start the satellite telecom service. The approval of the Central Government is awaited for this service. Billionaire Elon Musk’s company Starlink has also sought permission from the government to launch the satatelight internet service. Vice chairman of Bharti Enterprises, Rajan Bharti Mittal said, “We are waiting for spectrum allocation. We are ready to make our two stations in Gujarat and Tamil Nadu. do.”

He had said that Bharti Enterprises has launched 635 satellites and the company is providing services in other countries. Asked about the ongoing controversy over an allocation through the administrative process or auction of spectrum for the past few months, Mittal had reiterated Bharti Airtel’s stance. He said that satellite companies should pay license fees and get spectrum through auction. Reliance Jio has also favored to pay license fees for this spectrum and buy spectrum for telecom services. Market analysts say that more investment will have to be done on auctioning this spectrum and this can retreat international telecom companies.
