When the boy was brought to the Indian Spinal Injury Center, doctors came to know that TB had spread infection in two bones (D11-D12) of his spine. There was pus deposited and the spine veins were pressing. This resulted in partial paralysis and bladder failure.

After the surgery, the boy started to improve in a few days. He started walking and also returned to control on the bladder. Now he is in the phase of the rehab, where both physical strength and gaming addiction is being cured by physiotherapy and counseling.

Doctors have warned that mobile addiction can also make physical illness, not only mental illness.
