For IPL 2026, all the teams have to submit their retention lists by 15th November. The trade deals of top players like Sanju Samson and Ravindra Jadeja remain in the headlines. 1. Abhishek Sharma

Abhishek Sharma has been playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad since 2019. His stormy batting had helped Sunrisers Hyderabad a lot in reaching the final in 2024. In the last two seasons, Abhishek has been the second highest run scorer for SRH. Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise has invested in Abhishek for 7 years, the fruits of which have been seen in the last 2 seasons. If there was any other team, let alone SRH, they would not want to release this star batsman.

2. Travis Head

Travis Head joined Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2024. The opening pair of him and Abhishek Sharma have together scored 1864 runs in the last 2 years. The 2024 season did not go very well for Head, but in IPL 2024, he was the batsman who scored the most runs (567) for the SRH team. Head’s stormy style has proved effective in giving a good start to the Hyderabad team and his pairing with Abhishek has also made a huge contribution in changing the fortunes of the team.

3. Pat Cummins

Pat Cummins is the same player who has won 2 ICC trophies for Australia as captain. At the same time, his decisions on the field as a captain have proved to be unique and effective from time to time. Under his captaincy, SRH reached the final of the 2024 season. There is no doubt that Cummins is one of the best captains in the world at present. As a bowler, he has taken a total of 34 wickets for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the last 2 seasons.
