Prafulla Hinge won the Player of the Match award in his IPL debut match, he dismissed a dangerous batsman like Vaibhav Suryavanshi on his very second ball. In the same over, he also sent Dhruv Jurel to the pavilion, who had looked in good form in the previous matches of the ongoing edition. He took a total of 4 wickets. In the match held on Monday, Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Rajasthan Royals by 57 runs. Prafulla said after the match that he had already told the people that Vaibhav would be out on a bouncer ball. He also said that he had written somewhere that he would take 4-5 wickets in his debut match.

Batting first in this match played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Sunrisers Hyderabad had scored 216 runs, but considering the batting of Rajasthan Royals seen in the previous matches, this chase did not seem very difficult. But Prafulla Hinge, who was playing his debut match in IPL, wreaked havoc on the Rajasthan batsmen. After receiving the Player of the Match award, Prafulla said, “I had written somewhere that I will take 4-5 wickets in my debut match. I thought that I will put pressure in the powerplay. I believe that whatever you think, it comes true. I started playing cricket at the age of 13, then I did not even know what leather ball cricket was. I asked my father to join some club. But he said that I am too young. Then he took me to the club, and after that I continued playing. I want to dedicate this award to my family.”

Describing Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s wicket as his favourite, Prafulla Hinge further said, “I told people that I will bowl him a bouncer and get him out. I just wanted to get him out. Our bowling coach helped me plan it, so thanks to him.”

Sunrisers Hyderabad fast bowler Prafulla Hinge, playing his IPL debut match, gave a great start to SRH by taking 3 wickets in the very first over. He took the wicket of Vaibhav Suryavanshi on the second ball of the first over, after which he dismissed Dhruv Jurel on the fourth ball.
