Big news has come for millions of candidates preparing for government jobs. Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the City Intemission Slip for the Joint Graduate Level (CGL) Exam 2025. Now candidates can know in which city their examination will be conducted. To see this information, candidates have to login to the official website of the Commission ssc.gov.in.

How long will the exam be done?

Earlier this exam was to be held from 13 August to 30 August 2025, but the Commission later postponed it. Now according to the new dates, SSC CGL Tier-1 exam will be conducted from 12 September 2025 to 26 September 2025 at examination centers across the country. The special thing is that during this time, there will be examination on Saturday and Sunday also.

When will the admit cards be released?

Another important information related to the examination is that the admit cards will be made available for download 2 to 3 days before the exam date. That is, if the examination of a candidate is on 15 September, then its admit card will be released on 12 or 13 September. The admit card will have the complete address of the examination center, reporting time and all the necessary instructions.

• First of all visit the official website of SSC ssc.gov.in.
• Click on the SSC CGL City INTIMATION Slip 2025 link on the homepage.
• Enter your registration number and password/date of birth on the login page.
• As soon as you submit, your exam city information will be seen on the screen.
• Further, take a printout and save it.

What should be kept in mind at the examination center?

• It will be mandatory for the candidates to bring valid photo ID proof at the examination center.
• Admission will not be given under any condition without admit card and ID proof.
• It would be better to reach the examination center before the scheduled time.
• It is necessary to follow all the instructions written on the admit card.

Learn pattern of SSC CGL Exam Tier-1 exam

Talking about the pattern of SSC CGL Exam Tier-1, this exam will have 100 questions of 200 marks from General Intelligence and Regence, General Awareness Quantitative Aptitude and English Comprehension. To solve these questions, you will get 1 hour, negative marking of 0.50 marks will also be done on each wrong answer. Apart from this, all the questions except English Comprehension section will be in both English and Hindi.

How many posts will be recruited for

According to the official notice issued by SSC on July 7, the Staff Selection Commission will fill 14,582 vacant posts through SSC CGL 2025 Recruitment Examination. In which 6183 posts are for unreserved category, 2,167 posts SC, 1,088 for ST 3,721 for OBC and 1423 posts for EWS.
