Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the official notification for the Junior Engineer (JE) Exam 2025. With this, the online application process has also started. Interested and eligible candidates can apply till 21 July 2025.

1340 posts will be filled under recruitment. This recruitment is for civil, mechanical and electrical engineers. Candidates who have obtained BE/B.Tech or Engineering Diploma in the relevant subject can apply for this examination.

There are conditions of different ages for different departments. The maximum age for CPWD and CWC posts has been fixed at 32 years, while 30 years for other posts have been fixed. Reserved classes will get exemption as per rules. Age will be calculated on 1 August 2025 basis.

To apply in this recruitment examination, candidates of General, OBC and EWS class will have to pay 100 application fee. While no fee will be charged from SC, ST, Divyang and women candidates. Fees will be paid online.

First of all, the candidates will have to visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission ssc.gov.in. It is necessary to do one time registration (OTR) before applying here. After completing the OTR, the candidates login to the “Apply” section.

Now click on JE recruitment 2025 link and fill all the information sought. Then upload the documents, photos and signature. If you are eligible for fees, then pay it online. Finally, submit the entire form and keep a print of it for further.
