Chief Minister Manik Shah on Friday announced to increase dearness allowance (DA) for state government employees and pensioners while presenting the budget for the financial year 2025-26 in Tripura Assembly on Friday. & Nbsp;

Tripura CM said in the House that DA is being increased from 30% to 33%, which will be implemented from 1 April 2025. He said that this decision of the state government will increase the additional financial burden of about Rs 300 crore. & nbsp; & nbsp;

This decision of the government was happy among the government employees and salaries of the state waiting for the increase in allowance. Earlier, Tripura Finance Minister Pranjit Singh Roy presented a budget of Rs 32,423.44 crore in the assembly.

There is a detailed discussion about financial allocation, development schemes and policy decisions during the budget session. The budget session of the Thirteenth Tripura Assembly for the financial year 2025-26 will run till 1 April. It is believed that during this time the state budget and main legislative matters will be discussed. & Nbsp;
