After the Railway Sector, now private companies are going to enter the Nuclear Sector of India also.

After the Shanti Bill was passed in the Lok Sabha, decades old strict nuclear regulations have been eased. The government is emphasizing on Nuclear Energy for Energy Self-Reliance and Geo-Political strength.

At present there are 25 Nuclear Plants in India, while the target is to take the capacity to 100 GW by 2047. FDI limit has been increased to 49%.
