Central Ports, Shipping and Waterways Minister Sarbananda Sonowal confirmed that all three tankers—Desh Vaibhav, Desh Vibhor and Sanmar Herald—have safely crossed the Strait of Hormuz and are headed towards India. He told that these ships will reach different Indian ports between June 24 and July 1. In total, more than 8 lakh 60 thousand tonnes of crude oil is loaded in these tankers, which is very important for the energy needs of India.
