Anger Hormone Inside Body: We have seen that some people remain very calm, while some people get very angry on every issue. Have you ever wondered why this happens? Anger is not just an emotion, but it is directly related to our mind and body. When someone gets angry, there is a complete turmoil inside his body.

Let us know what is the scientific truth behind excessive anger.

This small part of the brain is the reason

There is a small part called Amygdala in our brain. It can also be called a danger alarm of our body. Whenever we feel bad about something, this alarm goes off immediately. This part is very active in people who are very angry. It blocks the thinking part of the brain, due to which the person says or does anything without thinking.

This change starts happening in the body as soon as you get angry

As soon as the amygdala becomes active, it releases stress hormones called adrenalin and cortisol in the body. As soon as these hormones are released, the following major changes occur in the body:

Heart beat becomes very fast.

Blood pressure suddenly increases.

The muscles get stretched completely.

Breathing starts becoming very fast and shallow.

Blood flow increases in the face and hands, due to which the face turns red.

Is excessive anger a sign of some major disease?

Getting angry again and again and excessively is very dangerous for health. Due to constant anger the body remains under stress all the time. This can cause serious diseases like heart attack, brain stroke and insomnia. Some people also get more angry due to mental stress, depression or lack of sleep.

How to calm this storm of anger?

It is not impossible to control anger. Whenever you feel angry, immediately take long and deep breaths. Count down from 1 to 10. Move away from that place for a while and drink cold water. By doing yoga and meditation daily, the mind remains calm and the amygdala remains under control.

How Stress Increases Blood Pressure: In today’s busy life, stress has become so common that people have started considering it as a part of their routine. High blood pressure was once considered a disease of old age, but now doctors are seeing it increasing rapidly in youth of 20-30 years, office workers, students and parents busy with responsibilities. Even people who look fit on the outside are facing the effects of constant stress on the inside, and its biggest impact is on the heart.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, high blood pressure often causes damage to the body gradually without any obvious symptoms. According to the US National Institute of Health, during stress, the body goes into fight or flight mode, due to which both heart rate and blood pressure increase.

What happens in the body during stress?

Dr. Mauryadeep Ghatak, Consultant Adult Psychiatrist and Sexologist, Marga Mind Care, explains that “When a person feels stressed, the body releases cortisol hormone. This makes the heart beat faster and the blood vessels start shrinking, due to which the blood pressure increases.” He says that the body cannot differentiate between mental and physical stress. That is, even if the person is sitting on an office chair, the body reacts in the same way as if he is running away from some danger.

What is the effect of mental stress?

The problem increases when stress is not limited to a few minutes or hours, but continues continuously. Working till late night, mobile notifications, traffic, financial pressure and personal life problems always keep the brain in alert mode. According to a research review published in the US National Institutes of Health, long-term mental stress can gradually lead to permanent high blood pressure.

What is the effect on our sleep?

The biggest impact of stress is on sleep. Dr. Mauryadeep Ghatak says that during sleep, the heart and blood vessels recover from the fatigue of the day. Normally, blood pressure reduces while sleeping, which gives rest to the heart. But due to continuous stress this process gets affected. Using mobile and laptop till late night reduces the production of melatonin hormone, which leads to poor sleep.

Read this also- Scary truth of Corona! Deaths were three times more than reported, WHO figures shocked

What is the effect of lifestyle?

Apart from this, stress also changes the habits of a person. People start giving up exercise, start eating more junk food, and their habit of smoking and drinking increases. According to Dr. Mauryadeep, all these things further increase the risk of high blood pressure. The most dangerous thing is that high blood pressure increases gradually and is often not detected until its serious effects start appearing on the body.

Is it affected by our heart health?

Now doctors are considering stress not only as a mental problem but also as a major threat related to heart health. Regular exercise, good sleep, reducing screen time and maintaining a balance between work and personal life can help keep blood pressure under control. Dr. believes that in the era of increasing stress, it has become very important to understand its impact in time.

Sweating is a normal process of the body, through which the body keeps itself cool. But when without any effort suddenly one starts sweating excessively and it starts creating discomfort in social life, then people start worrying internally whether it is a sign of some serious problem. Regarding this, experts say that many patients come to them with complaints of anxiety, panic attacks or insomnia. However, the most troubling thing for patients is excessive sweating, which starts affecting their daily life. In such a situation, let us tell you today whether excessive sweating is stress or the effect of hormones and what the experts tell the truth behind it.

What does anxiety sweat look like?

According to experts, sweating related to anxiety occurs in a special way. It usually starts not because of any physical activity but because of the fear or anticipation of that condition. Like before a meeting, during a social conversation or in a crowded place. Despite the cold weather, moisture in the palms, redness on the face or sweat reaching the clothes can be signs of this. This happens because during times of anxiety the body goes into fight or flight mode and stress hormones make the sweat glands more active.

There is no mental reason for sweating every time.

Experts also say that it is not necessary that every excessive sweating is related to mental problem. Sometimes hormonal changes can also be the reason for this. Especially in women, during perimenopause and menopause, sudden hot flashes and night sweats are seen, which may seem like anxiety. Apart from this, problems related to thyroid can also cause continuous sweating, along with symptoms like change in weight, rapid heartbeat or inability to tolerate heat can be seen.

Don’t ignore night sweating

According to experts, excessive sweating at night can be an important sign. If clothes or sheets have to be changed frequently due to sweat, then it should not be taken lightly. At the same time, if it is accompanied by weight loss, fever or feeling tired without any reason, then it can be an indication of some medical problem. Apart from this, experts also say that some medicines can also cause excessive sweating. This problem can occur as a side effect of antidepressants, anxiety medicines or some pain killers. Many patients consider it a small matter and do not tell it to the doctor, whereas it can affect the treatment.

Experts say it is important to talk about this topic

Experts say that sweating due to anxiety is not a weakness and its treatment is possible. Therapy, stress management and if necessary, medicines can provide a lot of relief from this problem. Besides, it is also important to identify the reasons like excessive caffeine consumption, lack of sleep and constant mental pressure. Experts believe that mental and physical health should not be seen separately.
