After the blast, Delhi Police has increased security in the entire city. All the railway stations of the capital have been put on high alert. Railway Protection Force (RPF), Government Railway Police (GRP) and dog squads have been deployed at major stations. Big revelation in preliminary investigation

Preliminary investigation has revealed that the blast was caused by a highly explosive substance, due to which many nearby vehicles were destroyed and even the windows of nearby buildings were broken. The forensic team is examining samples of the debris to find out what type of explosive was used in the blast. After this incident, Delhi Police has registered a case under UAPA (Unlawful Activities Prevention Act) and Explosives Act.

Security officials also said that 88 terrorists, who were allegedly supported by the Afghan Taliban, have been killed in operations conducted across the region in the last two days.

The Pakistani Army said in a statement on Thursday that 34 terrorists of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were killed in several operations based on confidential information in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province between Monday and Wednesday.
