A source in the Pakistan Hockey Federation said that the Johar Association has sent a letter to the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF), in which a strict message has been given that Pakistan should repay the outstanding amount of US $ 10,349, which is equal to Rs 8,83,762 in Indian currency. In fact, in October 2023, the Pakistan team went to play a tournament in Malaysia, when PHF did not pay the money spent on the journey, housing and other things of its officers, players and their families.

According to a report published in NDTV, the PHF source said, “Although the team’s stay and expenses were going to raise the organizers, but at the same time the PHF officials were made clear that they would have to bear all the expenses themselves. Some of these officers had stayed in luxurious hotels, where the players’ stay was arranged.”

The Johar Association has raised this issue before the Malaysian Hockey Association. On the other hand, he has also threatened that if the outstanding amount is not paid soon, he will complain to the PHF to the International Hockey Federation.

Talking about Sultan Azlan Shah Cup 2025, in addition to hosts Malaysia, India, Germany, Belgium, Canada and Ireland will participate in it. The tournament will be played from 22-29 November. India is the most often winning country of this tournament, which has raised the trophy 5 times.

Amir Hussain said, “We give PCB a budget of Arab-Arabs, while not showing cricket by performing. Our hockey team can perform. Football should be promoted. Football should be promoted. Money is not given for all these things, budgets are not approved.” The Malaysian organizer was not happy with the current situation of the Pakistan hockey team and not being able to pay the dues on time, so they took this action.
