<p><strong>1. Breathing Technique</strong></p>
<p>Breathing technique is considered to be the simplest and easiest. Whenever you feel tension or restlessness, try 4-7-8 breathing technique. For this, take a deep breath through the nose for 4 seconds, then hold the breath for 7 seconds and after that slowly exhale through the mouth for 8 seconds. Repeating this 3 to 5 times calms the mind and makes the body feel relaxed.</p>
<p><strong>2. Progressive Muscle Relaxation</strong></p>
<p>When you feel stress in the body, you can adopt progressive muscle relaxation technique. For this, sit in a quiet place and tighten and release the muscles of each part of the body one by one. Start it from the feet and then go to the thighs, stomach, shoulders and neck. This exercise makes the body stress free and brings the mind into relaxed mode.</p>
<p><strong>3. Mindfulness Meditation</strong></p>
<p>Mindfulness meditation can reduce the stress of your entire day in just 5 to 10 minutes. For this, sit in a quiet place, close your eyes and concentrate on your breathing. After this, whatever thoughts come to your mind, do not judge them, just let them come and go. This method connects you to the present and removes negative thoughts.</p>
<p><strong>4. Embrace yourself</strong></p>
<p>Hugging yourself during times of stress is considered a very effective way to reduce stress. For this, slowly hold yourself tightly with both hands and remain like this for a few seconds. In this way the mind feels security and peace. This technique releases oxytocin hormone in the body which improves the mood.</p>
<p><strong>5. Do doodling or creative activities</strong></p>
<p>When your mind feels very heavy, make some drawings on paper, color, write your thoughts or start gardening. This creative work shifts your focus from stress to something positive. This makes the mind feel light immediately.</p>
<p><strong>6. Take a mindful walk and try music therapy</strong></p>
<p>Just a 10-minute walk can change your mood.  While walking, pay attention to the sound of your footsteps, the coolness of the air and the rhythm of your breathing. This mindful walk brings you into the present and can reduce mental stress. Apart from this, music has a direct impact on our mood. <p><strong>Dementia:</strong> As our age increases, our brain also starts to weaken. With aging, memory, focus and ability to solve problems are affected. It is considered a natural process of aging, but due to wrong lifestyle, our brain can become old before time.</p>
<p>Experts warns that lack of sleep can also increase the risk of serious diseases like dementia in the long run. In such a situation, today we tell you how our brain is getting old before time. </p>
<p><strong>Lack of sleep is the biggest reason</strong></p>
<p>A recent research has revealed that lack of sleep is the main reason for the brain being old before the time. Actually, sleep gives the brain an opportunity to protect and repair. Not taking enough and good amount of sleep increases chronic inflammation in the body, which directly affects the brain cells i.e. neurons. At the same time, poor sleep for a long time damages the brain cells and the brain gets old quickly. </p>
<p><strong>What came up in research </strong></p>
<p>In the research conducted on the old age of the brain, more than 27,000 people were examined and the age of the brain was estimated through their brain scans. In this research, people who neither get less sleep and do not sleep, their mind was found to be about 0.6 years older than their real age. At the same time, such people who never sleep completely, their brain was found to be 1 year older than their real age. Apart from this, the researchers also prepared a sleep score. Due to the decline of every digit in this score, the brain age increases by about half a year. </p>
<p><strong>Experts advice </strong></p>
<p>Regarding this research, experts say that taking good and regular sleep is the most effective way to keep the mind young. If the problem of sleep is ignored, then it can increase the risk of serious mental illnesses in future. Apart from this, experts tell that to get good sleep, make a habit of sleeping and waking up at the same time daily. At the same time, reduce the use of mobile, TV and laptop at least 1 hour before sleeping and avoid eating or drinking caffeine -rich things at night. Apart from this, do mild exercise yoga or meditation to reduce the fatigue and stress of the day.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Diabetes has become a very common disease in India, due to which millions of people are struggling. From time to time, many studies keep coming up regarding this disease, but recently a new report submitted to the central government has caught everyone&#8217;s attention. This report claimed that regular yoga practice can reduce the risk of type-2 diabetes by 40%. The special thing is that it is more beneficial for those who are more at risk of this disease, such as who already have a diabetic in the family. This report is based on the prevention of yoga and type-2 diabetes and is scientifically prepared.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>What is special in the report?</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">This report has been prepared by the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India (RSSDi), which was led by the famous endocrinologist Dr. S.K. V. Madhu has done. This is the first time that yoga has been linked to the prevention of type-2 diabetes in a scientific study. Till now most research was focused on those who are already suffering from diabetes. But this new report focuses on those who are more likely to have diabetes. </p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Some special yoga rugs have been mentioned in the report, which have proved to be helpful in preventing this disease. These asanas not only improve physical health, but also help reduce stress and improve the use of insulin in the body. However, this report is currently based on non-medical (non-clinical) observations and has been sent for more tests. This means that there will be further intensive research on it in the coming time, so that the benefits of yoga can be understood more clearly.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Sangam of yoga and modern science</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Union Minister of Science and Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh, who himself is a senior diabetologist, has described this report as a scientific confirmation of India&#8217;s traditional health system. He said that this study shows that ancient genres like yoga can give an effective solution to health problems with modern science. Dr. Singh also informed that the Department of Biotechnology is doing further research in this direction, so that it can be understood how effective yoga and other traditional measures can be in the prevention and treatment of diabetes.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Increasing danger of diabetes</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Diabetes is increasing rapidly in India. Bad lifestyle, stress, wrong eating and low physical activity are the main reasons. Type-2 diabetes occurs when the body is unable to use insulin properly or make sufficient insulin. This disease not only affects physical health, but can also give rise to serious complications like heart disease, kidney problems and eye diseases. In such a situation, natural and cheap measures like yoga can bring a big change in prevention of this disease.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><strong>Why is yoga beneficial?</strong></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Yoga not only keeps the body fit, but also improves mental health. It reduces stress, which is a major cause of diabetes. Some postures of yoga, such as Surya Namaskar, Dhanurasana, Bhujangasana and Paschimottanasana, improve blood circulation in the body and increase insulin sensitivity. In addition, exercises such as pranayama and meditation help reduce stress, which helps in controlling blood sugar level.</p>
