Summer Special Train: April is about to end and children’s school holidays start in May and in the meantime, many people think of traveling or going to their homes, due to which the train gets crowded and the journey becomes difficult, but now Indian Railways has taken a big decision for the passengers in view of the increasing crowd during summer holidays. According to Indian Railways, a total of 18 thousand 262 summer special train trips have been announced to run between 15 April to 15 July 2026. This will make it easier for passengers to get confirmed tickets and will also reduce crowding in trains.

According to Railways, these special trains are being run especially keeping the peak season in mind. As of now, 11 thousand 878 trips have been announced so far and information about the remaining trains will also be released soon. Ministry of Railways says that this time the plan has been made with full preparation, which includes increasing the number of coaches and improving the time table.

Along with this, Railways has also made many improvements at the stations for the convenience of the passengers. Western Railway has started a real-time crowd management system at Udhna Railway Station, so that the crowd on the platform can be controlled.
