Sunil Shetty recently told why despite being a Mangalorean, he works mostly in Bollywood and why he rejects films of South Indian cinema. He told that he gets offers for many films, but he does not sign those films because Bollywood heroes mostly play the role of villain in South films.

Why does Sunil Shetty reject offers from South films?
Speaking to The Lallantop, Sunil said, “I get offers (from the South), but unfortunately, you will see this trend that we get offers for negative roles. They want to make the Hindi hero look strong… From a villain’s point of view, (they say) it is good for the screen and also for the audience but that’s the only thing I don’t like.”

He said, “I was doing films with Rajini sir only because I wanted to get a chance to work with him.” Sunil said, “Recently, I did a small Tuku film to promote a film which is performing really well. Its name is ‘Jai’.” He appeared in a small role in ‘Jai’. He further said, “Today there is no language barrier. If there is any barrier, it is probably because of the content. If your content is good, it will cross all barriers.”

During a conversation with Radio Nasha, Sunil Shetty talked about two of her films Faulad and Arzu, which could never be released. The veteran actor said that he had shot for Arzu for 60-65 days but there were differences between the director and the producers, due to which the film could not be made. At the same time, his second film Faulad director David Dhawan was concerned about his newcomer image and hence, this project was released.

However, when Balwan was released in 1992, it was successful. But a critic had told Sunil Shetty that even though his film was successful, he is a bad actor. The border star revealed this, “A very big critic, perhaps the only critical he was. He said that its film went but it is a very bad actor. Sunil Shetty’s acting, his acting and criticizing his strict body, Critic said,” He should sell Idli-Vawa in his restaurant. ” However, this comment did not put any negative effect on the Hera Pheri actor as his family had a means of earning from South Indian dishes and educated him and his sisters.

What did Sunil Shetty say about Akshay Kumar?
In this interview, Shetty talked about his pawn co-star Akshay Kumar and reminded him of meeting him for the first time. Sunil said that the player Kumar reminds him of his late cousin. So, during one of his shoots, Shetty told Kumar, “It is scary that I have to work with you every day because whenever I see you, I miss them.”
