An interesting twist came during the hearing when Sanjay Kapoor’s mother initially said that she would not reply to an application, but after consulting the lawyers, changed her stand and said that she would file a reply. After hearing the arguments of both the parties, the Joint Registrar has fixed the next hearing of the case for January 20, 2026.

Heart attack while playing polo

Sanjay Kapoor died suddenly of cardiac arrest during a polo match in England on June 12, 2025. Delhi High Court will hear further in this matter on Friday.
