There are 9 days of Jyeshtha month when the heat or heat of the sun is at its peak. This is called Nautapa or Navatpa. This year Nautapa starts from May 25, which will be till 3 June 2025. At this time, the Sun lives in Rohini Nakshatra and the rays of the sun fall directly on the earth.

According to the scriptures, it has been advised not to do some tasks at the time of Nautapa. These works in Nautapa are not considered auspicious from health and religious point of view. Therefore, know which 9 work should be avoided in 9 days of Nautapa.

During Nautapa, eating excessive oil-spices should be avoided. Eating brinjal at this time is also prohibited. Also, in these days, avoid measuring food.

Auspicious work should not be done during Nautapa. At this time, it is appropriate to postpone manglic works like marriage, marriage, house entry.

The possibility of thunderstorms is also high in 9 days of Nautapa. So do not even travel long distances. The strong rays of the sun have a bad effect of children’s health. Therefore, do not send the children out of the house in the afternoon and rest for some time after lunch themselves.

If a needy comes to the house to ask for something during Nautapa, do not return it empty -handed. You must donate some things according to your ability.

Nautapa is related to the Sun. Therefore, during this time, do not disrespect things like wheat, jaggery, gold, ruby, copper, red clothes, ghee, saffron etc.
