The terrorist angle is now coming to light in the investigation of the horrific attack on Sydney’s Bondi Beach. Police have found an ISIS flag from the attackers’ car, after which the father and son of Pakistani origin are suspected to be linked to IS. However, the Australian Police has not yet made any official confirmation in this regard and the investigation is ongoing.

ISIS flag found in car
According to investigating agencies, an ISIS flag was recovered during the search of the vehicle linked to the attack. After this discovery, the entire matter is being looked at from the angle of terrorist attack and security agencies are investigating every link closely.

Doubt on Pakistani father and son
The attackers have been identified as 50-year-old Sajid Akram and his 24-year-old son Navid Akram. There have been reports of both of them being Pakistani citizens. Sajid Akram was killed in police action, while Naveed is admitted in hospital in critical condition and is under police observation.

Navid was already on the radar
According to sources, Navid Akram had come on the radar of Australian intelligence agencies a few months ago, but was released due to lack of sufficient evidence. Now, after getting clues related to ISIS, this aspect is being thoroughly investigated again.

Police did not officially confirm
Australian police have clarified that the direct link with ISIS has not been officially confirmed yet. Officials say that any conclusion will be reached only after the investigation is completed.

After the recovery of the ISIS flag, the investigation has been intensified considering the case as an anti-Semitic terrorist attack. Inputs are also being taken from international agencies, so that the possible networks and contacts of the attackers can be ascertained.

Due to a sudden attack from behind, the attacker falls on the ground, while the person points the attacker’s rifle at him. After this video went viral, social media users are praising the man’s courage.

10 people killed in firing on Bondi Beach

A mass shooting incident took place on Bondi Beach at 6:30 pm local time, in which 10 people have died. NSW Police Force said that one of these 10 people is said to be the attacker, while the condition of the other attacker is critical. At the same time, two policemen are also included among the 11 injured. Immediately after this incident, the NSW Police Force immediately started the operation, which is still going on.

New South Wales Police appealed to the people

Police have advised the common people to stay away from the incident site and take shelter at some safe place. The NSW Police Force shared a post on social media platform X saying, ‘Police are present at the scene and will share more information as it becomes available. At present the campaign is going on and we are continuously appealing to the people to stay away from the area. Please follow all police instructions and do not cross the police cordon.
