The attackers have been identified as 50-year-old Sajid Akram and his 24-year-old son Navid Akram. There have been reports of both of them being Pakistani citizens. Sajid Akram was killed in police action, while Naveed is admitted in hospital in critical condition and is under police observation.

10 people killed in firing on Bondi Beach
