1. No country has won two consecutive World Cups

T20 World Cup 2026 will be organized from 7th February. On the very first day, 6 teams including Team India and Pakistan will be in the field, ICC has released the full schedule of the tournament. Current champion India’s first match in the T20 World Cup 2026 is on February 7, which will be against USA. The India vs Pakistan match will take place on 15 February 2026 at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

If Pakistan cricket team reaches the semi-finals, then the first semi-final will be played in Colombo on March 4, otherwise it will be played in Kolkata.
