T20 World Cup 2026 is to be played in February-March next year. India’s first match will be with USA on 7 February. ICC Chairman Jay Shah launched the first ticket of the World Cup at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Jay Shah also presented India’s T20 World Cup jersey to Luis Suarez and Rodrigo De Paul. During this period, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta was also present there.

This was the third and last day of Lionel Messi’s GOAT Tour. He had earlier visited Kolkata, Hyderabad and Mumbai. Messi, Suarez and DePaul also played football with children at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.

A total of 55 matches will be played between 20 teams. The hosts of the tournament are India and Sri Lanka, Pakistan will play all its matches in Sri Lanka. Tickets for matches held in India start from Rs 100, the lowest ticket for matches held in Sri Lanka is around Rs 300.

The International Cricket Council said in its statement, “ICC has today announced the start of ticket sales for the Men’s T20 World Cup, in which the initial ticket prices have been kept low to make this big event accessible to more people. The sale will start at 6:45 Indian time and the prices will start at just Rs 100 in some places in India and around Rs 300 in Sri Lanka.

How to book T20 World Cup 2026 tickets?

Fans can book tickets by visiting the Cricket World Cup website (https://tickets.cricketworldcup.com) or can also book tickets directly by visiting the Book My Show website or app. By going to the website, you will see the flags of all the teams, click on the match ticket of any team for which you want to book.

If you click on the name of India, the list of matches of Team India will appear. Click on the match for which you want to book a ticket. Suppose you clicked on India vs Pakistan match, which will be played on 15 February at R Premadasa Stadium, Colombo.

You have to login first, then the option of Book Now will become available for you. You can then book your ticket by choosing your seat and paying the ticket price. Please note that only a maximum of 2 tickets can be booked from one login ID.

India vs Pakistan match will be held in Sri Lanka on 15th February. The lowest ticket for matches to be held in Sri Lanka is 1500 LKR, which is Rs 438 in Indian currency.
