Then how can you claim these insurance?
According to Senior Journalist Clerk Verma, today about 90% of films are insured and it mainly consists of three types of insurance.
First, health insurance which is only for cast and crew. In this, if a cast or crew member gets hurt or he was injured during the shooting, then the insurance company gives compensation for medical treatment. The second is, the set insurance is insured on the shooting sets and location of films. The third is Equipment Insurance. In this, expensive equipment used in pre production, production and post production is insured.
