Taiwan on Yunus-Xi Jinping Meeting: Taiwan has been enraged by the meeting of Mohammad Yunus, Chief Advisor of the Interim Government of Bangladesh and Chinese President Xi Jinping. Taiwan’s Foreign Ministry has told Mohammad Yunus’s visit to China very well. In fact, after meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Bangladesh’s Chief Advisor Mohammad Yunus described Taiwan as an integral part of China. Yunus’s revealing Taiwan erupted and he reacted sharply to this and advised Mohammad Yunus to avoid lying and spreading confusion. At the same time, Taiwan emphasized that it is an independent country and has never been running away from China.

Taiwan’s sharp reaction to Mohammad Yunus’s comment

A Taiwan Foreign Ministry spokesman said, “Taiwan’s Foreign Ministry (MFA) has strongly opposed the statement issued jointly during his meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping on Thursday (March 28), the Chief Advisor of the Interim Government of Bangladesh. He tried to spread confusion to Taiwan that Taiwan is an integral part of China. “

Taiwan advised Mohammad Yunus

Taiwan’s Foreign Ministry in its statement emphasized that the Republic of China (Taiwan) is a sovereign and independent state and is not under the People’s Republic of China (China) at all. A spokesman for the Ministry of External Affairs said, “In the event of Taiwan’s sovereignty, no distortion can change the recognized cross-state status quo at the international level. Our government will strongly defend the state’s sovereignty.”

He added, “Our government is fully committed to protecting the sovereignty and dignity of our country, protecting the values of democracy and freedom, with all the friendly countries with similar ideals for regional peace, stability and development.”

Taiwan shows Mirror to Bangladesh

Apart from this, Taiwan’s Foreign Ministry showed a mirror to Bangladesh and made a strong comment on it. The Ministry of External Affairs said, “Taiwan, Bangladesh-Taiwan calls for Bangladesh to strengthen the relations of the two countries with a practical and open attitude in many other fields with economic and business cooperation and to give a positive contribution to promote democracy, peace and development in the Indo-Pacific sector.”
