The no flying zone acts as a shield, protecting the high security area from air strikes, sudden crashes or misuse of drones. In today’s time, threats can come from light drones or even small aircraft. The movement of aircraft above such a place is completely banned.

The air space above Rashtrapati Bhavan is one of the most secure zones in India. No civilian, private or commercial aircraft is allowed to fly over it. Flying a drone is also considered a serious crime here.

Drones, helicopters or even private planes cannot pass over Tirumala Venkateswara Temple. Lakhs of devotees come here every day and even a small accident can become the cause of a big tragedy. For this reason this area has been declared a no fly zone.

Central Delhi houses the Parliament, the Prime Minister’s house, security agencies and other sensitive ministry offices. To eliminate all kinds of threats, flying over the zone is banned. Any type of aircraft wandering in this area is immediately inspected.

Bhabha Atomic Research Center handles the work of nuclear research, sensitive experiments and classified national security. Due to special reasons the air space around it is completely closed. Because this place is very sensitive, any aircraft flying over it without permission can become a threat to national security.

Taj Mahal has also been declared a no fly zone. Airplanes flying overhead can pose a danger due to vibration, pollution or sudden accidents. Due to this the structure may get damaged.
