Taj Mahal, such a symbol of love on which poets tried their skills, painters put their art on canvas, filmmakers brought their expertise on screen. Lyricists wrote songs, musicians composed tunes, photographers freed the sculptor’s art from the confines of time and place and took the intricacies of architecture to every corner of the world. Writers strung it in a string of pearls of words and historians recorded it as a treasure of time. New generations of every era learned the art of love from it.

This symbol of love brought us face to face with that form of love, where the last step of love is to sacrifice everything, to destroy oneself. Reminded me of the principle of loyalty, where love is not just a pledge of the body, but is a journey into the soul.

Such is the beauty of the Taj Mahal that everyone from the courtesans to the Qawwals could not stop themselves from praising it. The courtesans mentioned this in their tales and gatherings and kept collecting tribute from their admirers, kind-hearted ones and lovers. In different eras, emperors copied it to show their grandeur and love, but failed.

Four hundred years have passed, but this building still speaks of the passing centuries. During this period, all kinds of rulers came and went – both good and bad. But most rulers saw it as a legacy and a memento of power. There were critics too, but most of them came to the conclusion that it should be judged on the criteria of history and art and praised it highly. The extent is such that even the religious people who oppose every new thing considered it a sign standing between time and destiny. Even the priest of the mosque and the priest of the temple – no one came out against it. Tourists from all over the world were seen running towards the east to see this building. He considered Taj Mahal as a symbol of India’s identity and love.

But what could be a bigger irony than this that this country is so immersed in the market of hatred that now a stage poet is calling it a ‘white graveyard’ and with his statement there is silence everywhere. Even if there were voices of protest, they came from traditional opponents and were very limited. The tradition of words that the stage poets come from has perhaps made their home in that swamp of hatred, where the clean, beautiful and fragrant lotus plant has now withered. Now only the smell comes from there… and it is possible that the stage poet is liking this smell, it is finding it more relaxing.

The custom is that when criticizing someone, one should at least weigh it on the criteria of one’s own tradition. If the Indian literary tradition can be proud of one person in the 20th century, it is Rabindranath Tagore – who wrote in his Shahakar Nazm: “The Taj Mahal is a drop of tear on the cheek of time.”

If there is any flaw in Tagore’s poetry or if it has lost its relevance in the journey of a century, then at least it should be openly acknowledged and announced. Let us tell you that Tagore said meaningless things in his writings. This line of his has become mere garbage of history. Many Urdu critics also acknowledged the greatness of Taj Mahal. He used to say that the Mughals gave three things to India – Urdu, Ghalib and Taj Mahal. Another famous critic of Urdu, Gopichand Narang, while praising Urdu, compared this language to Taj Mahal. He had said, ‘I call Urdu the linguistic Taj Mahal of India.’ Narang praised both Taj Mahal and Urdu together in one line. Tagore, Narang – these are those great personalities whose footsteps are worthy of respect.

Sahir, who is like this regarding Taj Mahal –
An emperor, with the help of wealth,
We have made fun of the love of the poor

When the same Sahir composed a song for the film Taj Mahal, he said – “Jo Vaada Kiya…” When this song decorated with Roshan’s music comes among the people with the magic of Rafi’s soulful, soulful and charming voice and Lata’s velvety and flexible tunes, it becomes popular on everyone’s tongue. This immortal song is also the Marhoon-e-Minnat of this Taj Mahal.

It is true that the Taj Mahal is not beyond criticism. But if there is hatred in criticism, especially religious, and along with it, there is greed and hope of getting something, then it is not difficult to understand how fast the journey of downfall is being made.

As soon as the winter holidays have started, the process of traveling across the country has intensified and in this sequence, domestic and foreign tourists are reaching Agra to see the Taj Mahal of India, which is included in the seven wonders of the world. But this time his sight remained incomplete.

Dense fog covered the Taj Mahal to such an extent that tourists could not see it. This situation amid the cold weather seemed to have a direct impact on the tourism of Agra and the hopes of the tourists who had come to see the Taj Mahal were dashed.

Taj Mahal disappears in dense fog

As the temperature dropped in Agra, there was dense fog in the morning. With the further drop in temperature, the Taj Mahal is hidden in a blanket of dense fog. In the initial hours, Taj Mahal was completely seen wrapped in fog.

Nothing was clearly visible from the main gate of the Taj Mahal to the main dome. Tourists who had come with the dream of seeing the Taj in the first rays of the sun looked disappointed. Due to fog, the grandeur of the Taj Mahal remained hidden from view and this scene reflected the harshness of winter.

VIDEO | Agra: The iconic Taj Mahal fades into a dense blanket of fog as temperatures dip further, intensifying the winter chill across Northern India.
Effect on photography and views also

Due to dense fog, tourists could not even do photography in the shadow of Taj Mahal. It became difficult to see the Taj Mahal even from Mehtab Bagh due to fog. Tourists who had planned to take beautiful pictures of the Taj had to return empty handed. The fog spread all around reduced visibility considerably.

Similarly, due to poisonous smog in Delhi NCR, haze was seen in many areas in the morning. This combination of cold and pollution in North India affected the normal life as well as tourism activities. Disappointment was clearly visible among the tourists who had come to see the Taj Mahal. Many tourists who came early in the morning to visit were seen returning disappointed.

If anything is called the most precious thing in Mughal history, then it is not the Taj Mahal but the famous Peacock Throne of Shahjahan that comes on top. This was a throne in which the amount of gold and gems used to make it were never seen in any other royal object. It is said that even foreign travelers were stunned to see its brightness.

Immediately after assuming the throne, Shahjahan decided to build a throne that would suit his grandeur. It started under the leadership of Ustad Saad-ul-Gilani. Gold, diamonds, emeralds, rubies and priceless pearls imported from all over the world adorned this throne. After about seven years of hard work, Shahjahan sat on it for the first time in 1635.

unique structure in the world

French traveler Trevernier had the opportunity to see Shahjahan’s throne up close. According to him, there were two peacocks mounted on the throne whose feathers were shining with colorful gems. In the middle was a beautiful form of Kalpavriksha, which was decorated with different precious stones. The golden pillars supporting the entire throne and the hanging pearl strings made it even more amazing. Many foreign travelers of that time called it the king of treasures.

How much did it cost?

In the year 1635, the price of the Peacock Throne was estimated at Rs 10 crore 70 lakh and as of today, its value is more than Rs 1.35 lakh crore. Till date no royal throne in the world has been able to match it. It is believed that the famous Kohinoor diamond was also once a part of it. According to the ADA report, the cost of building Taj Mahal at that time was Rs 3 crore 20 lakh.

Nadir Shah’s plunder and departure from India

In 1739, Nadir Shah, the ruler of Iran, took this throne with him after conquering Delhi. Along with him, Kohinoor and many other precious gems also reached Iran. This incident is counted among the biggest loot of Mughal wealth.

The disappearance of the throne—an unsolved mystery

After the assassination of Nadir Shah, anarchy spread in Iran. In this turmoil the Peacock Throne suddenly disappeared. Historians believe that it was broken into pieces and its gems were sold separately. Some parts later appeared in the Iranian Sun Throne, but the original throne has never been found.

Kohinoor’s long journey

After separation from the throne, the Kohinoor diamond passed through many hands and reached Punjab and was taken to Britain after the British occupation in 1849. Today it is part of the British Crown Jewels. In later times, Mughal rulers tried to make a copy of this throne, but it could never attain the grandeur of the original. That replica was also lost to history in the Revolt of 1857.

BJP MP from Agra Rajkumar Chahar strongly raised a serious issue related to the city in the winter session of the Lok Sabha. He said that even though the beauty of Taj Mahal is famous all over the world, but the strict rules of Taj Trapezium Zone (TTZ) and NGT have stopped the development of Agra. According to him, due to these rules neither new industries are being established nor employment opportunities are being created.

Rajkumar Chahar said in the House, “Taj Mahal is very beautiful, but the beauty of Taj Mahal has become a curse for the people of Agra. The reason is that the beauty of Taj Mahal should not be lost, for this reason Taj Trapezium Zone, TTZ and NGT are implemented. Due to TTZ and NGT, neither industries nor factories can be set up in Agra and the youth of Agra are wandering unemployed.”

Connectivity is excellent, but no development

MP Chahar also mentioned the excellent connectivity of Agra. He said that the city is connected to large parts of the country through Delhi-Agra Expressway, Lucknow-Agra Expressway and the soon to be built Gwalior-Agra Expressway. He said that it is also from Agra to Jaipur. Agra is very close to Delhi.

If industries cannot be set up, Agra should become an IT hub.

Rajkumar Chahar said that due to TTZ rules it is almost impossible to set up factories and big industries, so now the only way is to promote the IT sector.

He demanded from the government, “Now we have only one way left. There is only one way that factories and industries cannot be set up due to compulsions, but the IT hub of the entire country can be made in Agra. So my demand from the government is that keeping in mind the unemployed people of Agra, Agra should be made an IT hub in the interest of the people of Agra, so that the people there can get justice and the beauty of Taj Mahal will automatically remain.”

The MP believes that by becoming an IT hub, the youth of Agra will get employment and the city will become economically strong. With this, the way for development will also open without harming the beauty of Taj Mahal.

This statement given in the Lok Sabha can spark a big debate on the development model of Agra, because on one hand there is the protection of historical heritage, while on the other hand the question of employment for lakhs of youth also arises.

It is said that Taj Mahal is not just a building but a feeling, a symbol of love which has been the identity of India for centuries. But just think, what if someone throws stones at this historical heritage or tries to damage it? Can he be released just by paying a fine or does he have to go to jail? This question is not just related to the law, but is also related to the legacy that Shahjahan left as a symbol of immortal love.

Attack on Taj Mahal, what does the law say?

In India, historical buildings like the Taj Mahal have received stringent protection provisions under the Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1958. If any person damages such a structure, it is not just mischief but is considered a serious crime. Under the law, any kind of vandalism, painting, or throwing stones at the Taj Mahal amounts to a crime causing damage to the protected monument.

How much punishment and how much fine can be imposed?

If any person causes damage to the Taj Mahal or any other protected monument, then according to Section 30 of the Act, he can be punished with imprisonment of up to two years, or a fine of up to Rs 1 lakh, or both together. It is the job of the court to decide how big the loss was and what were his intentions. If the vandalism is intentional, the punishment may be even more severe.

Strict monitoring and security arrangements of ASI

The Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) enforces strict rules for the safety and maintenance of the Taj Mahal. It is prohibited to carry weapons, sharp objects or any object that can cause damage to the structure on the premises. If any part gets broken or scratched due to someone’s mistake, ASI takes immediate action. Security agencies keep a constant vigil through CCTV and drones so that any anti-social activity can be prevented.

What happened first in such cases?

A few years ago, a tourist tried to engrave his name on the railing of the Taj Mahal, after which an FIR was registered against him and he had to pay a fine. Similarly, in incidents of stone pelting or damaging the wall, the accused is immediately arrested. In many cases, the court has given punishment by giving strict warnings so that no one tampers with the monument in future.

Amir Khan Muttaki, minister of the Taliban government in Afghanistan, is on a visit to India. On Friday, he met India’s Foreign Minister S. Have met Jaishankar. Muttaki has expressed his desire to go to Deoband in UP in the press conference. Meanwhile, he will also visit the Taj Mahal. Now SP MP Zia-ur-Rehman Burke has targeted Muttaki’s visit to India and his visit to Deoband, Agra in UP. Zia-ur-Rehman Burke has opposed his visit. Meanwhile, he has also fiercely attacked the UP government and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

SP MP raised questions on Taliban minister’s visit

SP’s Sambhal MP Zia-ur-Rehman Burke has raised questions on Muttaki’s visit through a post on social media. He said that, when the Indian government itself invites and welcomes Taliban minister Muttaqi when he comes to India, no one raises questions.

He further said, but when former Sambhal MP Dr. Shafiqur Rahman Burke had given a statement about Taliban, then CM Yogi had said that he should be ashamed and UP Police had registered an FIR.

Zia-ur-Rehman Burke spoke on Amir Mattaki’s UP visit

Zia ur Rehman has targeted the Afghan Foreign Minister regarding his visit to Uttar Pradesh. He says, now the same Taliban ministers will visit Taj Mahal in Agra, will also visit Deoband and the Yogi government will give them complete security. Raising questions on this visit, the SP MP asked, why the double standards? He further asked, now who should feel ashamed and against whom will a report be filed?

Let us tell you that former SP MP Shafiqur Rahman Burke had praised the Taliban government after it was formed. Due to which he came into controversies. Now Shafiqur Rehman Burke’s grandson and SP MP Zia-ur-Rehman Burke has raised questions regarding the Taliban minister’s visit to UP.

The makers have broken the silence on the controversy over Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal’s upcoming film ‘The Taj Story’. He has made it clear through a social media post that this film is not related to any religious issue. He also requested people to wait a little before reaching any result.

Film away from religious controversy

Actor Paresh Rawal has also released a statement on his X handle. In this, he wrote, Author of the film ‘The Taj Story’ clears that this film is not related to any reliable issues nor does it claim that there is a Shiva temple within the Taj Mahal. The film is based only on historical facts. We request the audience to watch the film and make their own opinion. Thanks, Golden Global Services Private Limited.

This clarification has come when there was a dispute over a poster of the film. In this, Paresh Rawal was seen holding the dome of the Taj Mahal and the statue of Shiva was seen inside. Due to this, people on social media connected the film to the controversial claims who described the Taj Mahal as the Shiva temple, while this is not true. The makers have issued a clarification so that the film does not get caught in any controversy. The makers have now removed that clerarification poster from social media.

Film and release information

It was also shared by Paresh Rawal on his ‘X’ timeline. It was written on its poster, what if everything you have been taught is lie? The truth is not just hidden, its assessment is being done. Close to 31 October Theater See the fact revealing the fact with The Taj Story.

Last month, the film’s makers released its teaser. In this, Paresh Rawal was seen arguing in the court on intellectual terrorism. ‘The Taj Story’ also stars artists like Zakir Hussain, Amrita Khanwilkar, Sneha Wagh and Namit Das. The film has been written and directed by Tusshar Amrish Goyal. The film will be released in theater on 31 October.

The city of Aurangabad, situated on the south plateau, was earlier called Khaki, when Aurangzeb became the Subedar of the South, he made it his capital and changed his name to Aurangabad. In this city, his first wife became the tomb of Bano Begum, who is today called Bibi’s Tomb.

In 1657, Dilras Bano died and was buried in Aurangabad. Earlier, a simple tomb was made for him, but his son Azamshah was not satisfied with it. He urged his father Aurangzeb to make a luxurious tomb like the Taj Mahal in memory of his mother.

Bibling and design of Bibi’s Tomb
Aurangzeb was against expenses, but on the insistence of the son, he gave six lakh rupees. The design of the mausoleum was designed by Ataullah, who was the son of Taj Mahal designer Ahmed Lahori. The construction work was assigned to craftsman Hanspatarai. It used marble and white plaster of Makrana. The expenses of the then author named Ghulam Mustafa have been mentioned in the book date Nama, according to which the entire 6 lakh 68 thousand rupees was spent to build the mausoleum, while the cost of the Taj Mahal was around Rs 3.2 crore.

Taj Mahal copy or different identity
Bibi’s tomb seems similar to the Taj Mahal, but it does not have grandeur in it. Due to lack of resources, the work of mosaic could not be done in it. Despite this, it is famous for its beauty and craftsmanship and is called the Taj Mahal of Dakkan. It is a symbol of simplicity and limited resources of Aurangzeb’s time. Today this monument is a popular tourist destination and is considered to be an excellent example of Mughal architecture.

History of Taj Mahal
The Taj Mahal is the best and unique example of Mughal architecture. It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. The construction work of the Taj Mahal started in 1632 and it was fully completed in 1653. It took about 22 years to make it and thousands of craftsmen contributed their art.
