The fire agency gave this information on X. The agency told people to protect themselves first. Stay away from dangerous things. Keep shoes and torch near the bed. Take any action only after the shaking stops. This can prevent injuries.

No damage of any kind
At present, the Taipei administration has said that there are no immediate reports of any casualties or damage due to the earthquake. According to local media, buildings in Taiwan’s capital shook due to the earthquake. Tremors were felt throughout Taiwan.

Taiwan’s Meteorological Department has informed that a new earthquake has been recorded, it comes three days after a 6.1 magnitude earthquake occurred in Taiwan’s south-eastern coastal county Taitung on Wednesday.
