Anupam Kher’s film Tanvi is in the Great Theater. The film was released on 18 July. The film did not work even after positive reviews. The film has grossed only 2 crores. Saira was also released with Tanvi The Great. Saira is earning a lot. Saira’s success also affected Tanvi The Great.

Now Anupam Kher told how he has made this film. The actors of the film have not been paid fees yet.

In an interview to the Republic, Anupam Kher said that the person who had agreed to the fund in the beginning, pulled his hand a few days before the film’s production started. Because of this the film was delayed. Then Anupam spoke to everyone with the doctors of the fund, businessman, whom he knew.

Tanvi The Great is made in a budget of 50 crores

Anupam told that there are 10 producers in the film and many people have spent money to make it. Anupam did not want to work with any studio for this film because he wanted his creative independence. The budget of the film is 50 crores and he has not paid fees to any actor.

Anupam said, ‘The collection of the film has not been good. Unfortunately, what has happened in the last 10 years and not a cinema business. We think that if a film has not done well then it means the film is not good. I am not speaking about my film being defensive. I am also part of the Business World. When we made a budget, it reached around 50 crores. There was a gentleman who said that he will give 50 percent of the budget. But a month before the shoot, he said that he cannot finance the film.

These actors did not get the fees

Anupam further said, ‘There are 10 producers in the film. Nobody has nothing to do with film business. Some work in a bank and some are businessmen. I said that I will return the money when the film will be released. Man 4 actors of my film digide that they will not take fees. I went to Arvind Swami, Jackie Shroff, Pallavi Joshi and Boman Irani and said that this has happened. I said that I will give it, so he said that we have asked for.
