Us china trade war: China’s economic condition is now deteriorating due to the tariff tight of US President Donald Trump. The big economists of the country of Xi Jinping themselves are now worried about what the situation of China is going to happen in the coming time. The biggest thing is that if the US seized China’s foreign property, then China’s condition will be like Russia.

What to say of the economist of China

According to a report by the South China Post, a senior economist and former Central Bank Advisor to Chinese U Yongding has expressed serious concern over the safety of China’s foreign properties amid growing trade war with the US. He has advised Chinese officials to be vigilant and make necessary preparations to reduce possible losses.

America can make dollars weapon

In a forum held in Beijing, U Yongding said, “America can make dollars a weapon. Trade war is intensifying, I am afraid that this struggle may reach China’s foreign properties.”

China had foreign assets of 10.2 trillions by the end of 2024. It will be around 850 lakh crore rupees in Indian rupees. Out of which 3.2 trillion dollars are Forex Reserve. Most of these are in US dollars. However, China is decreasing the holdings of American Treasury Bills in the last few years. Since 2017, China has reduced about 25 percent of American bonds.

Russia can also be with China

U Yongding warned that China should be cautious by taking lessons from the way the US seized Russian properties after the Russia-Ukraine War. He said, “We should be ready and take concrete steps, so that future damage can be reduced.”

“Mara-e-Lago Accord” also threatened?

U also expressed concern over a hypothetical plan called “Mar-e-Lago Accord”, in which the US could turn the dollar-dinominated debt of foreign borrowers into 100 years bonds. According to U, “It will be a way default, which can become a big threat to China.”

The confrontation between China and the US can now move beyond trade and reach the financial sector. The concern about China’s foreign properties, especially the funds kept in US dollars, is increasing. Experts believe that China will have to further strengthen its economy as well as reduce dependence on US dollars.

Us china trade war: US President Donald Trump has taken Tariff War to a separate level against China. The White House announced on Tuesday that from April 9, an additional tariff of up to 104 per cent will be charged on goods imported from China. This step was taken when China refused to remove 34 per cent of the counter -charge imposed on American goods.

What did the White House say?

White House Press Secretary Caroline Lewitt clearly stated that China’s retaliation was a huge mistake. He said, “When someone attacks America, President Trump and do loud back.

China not priority

It is clear from this move of the Trump administration that China no longer prioritize the trade policy of America. Officials have also said that trade talks with other countries will continue, but there is no possibility of any immediate agreement with China. In fact, this trade war deepened when President Trump had indicated to increase the tariff for the first time on 2 April. After that announcement, there was a huge decline in the global stock markets, causing the possibility of recession and a major upheaval in international trade. However, later there was some recovery in the US markets, but the atmosphere of uncertainty still remains.

China does not back down

On the other hand, China has also taken an aggressive stand. Describing the American tariff as “blackmail”, he has said that he is “ready to fight till the end”. This attitude of China has increased the tension between the two countries. The effect of this tariff war will not be limited to America and China only. It can also affect developing countries like India. Increasing uncertainty in global trade and concern of investors can also affect India’s markets. In such a situation, economies around the world will not remain untouched by this economic fight.

Trump Tariff: US President Donald Trump has imposed reciperook tariff on many countries of the world including India last week. Many countries have been imposed tariffs up to 50 percent. Trump has imposed a baseline tariff of 10 percent on all countries. Trump’s tariff has the biggest impact on the southeast Asian countries and some of the weakest economies in the world. This has further increased the impact of 90 percent cut in international development (USAID) foreign aid contracts by the Trump administration in these countries.

Canada and Mexico out of tariff list

The US has excluded the list of 10 percent baseline and recipe-rich tariffs under the US-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA). In fact, the USMCA (United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement) implemented in the first term of Trump promotes free trade and under this, they are excluded from the tariff list.

Explain that there will be 0 percent tariff on the goods under USMCA, while non-USCA goods will have 25 percent and 10 percent tariff on energy. Mexico and Canada are also exempted because it is a major supply chain for North America in the sector of automobiles and energy, which are important for the American economy. However, if Canada and Mexico do not cooperate with America on border security and trade deficit, then tariffs can also be applicable to them.

Which countries have the most impact of tariffs?

China’s name comes first on this list. Trump announced 54 percent tariff on China earlier this week. While retaliating on this, China imposed a tariff of 34 percent on American imports and now the US has openly challenged China and said that if China does not remove 34 percent tariffs till April 8, it will be imposed an additional 50 percent tariff. In such a situation, the total tariff on Chinese goods will be 94 percent. China exports $ 430 billion goods to the US. In such a situation, the possibility of damage also increases significantly due to increasing tariffs.

Canada and Mexico also damage

Trump has also imposed 25 percent tariffs on Canada and Mexico, as has already been reported. The numbers of Canada on which American tariffs have fallen on include clothes and costumes. This affected the import of about $ 253 billion. In 2024, Canada exported goods worth about $ 421.2 billion to the US.

Similarly, Mexico sends $ 507 billion goods to America. Of these, 236 billion dollars – The current 25 percent is applicable at about 47 percent. However, nothing can be said about whether the changes that have been implemented from 2 April or not. Along with this, Passenger vehicle and auto parts are also a big exporter for Mexico America, which is a total of $ 131 billion. Steel and aluminum are also sent to America from these three countries.

Us tariff: A good news related to tariffs for India has come from America. According to the report, the US has indicated to keep India in a separate category tariff from China, Mexico and Canada. For the first time between India and America, the trade agreement started face to face in the national capital Delhi for the first time. During this time, the concerned American officials indicated to their Indian counterparts that in terms of tariffs, India will not be treated like China, Mexico and Canada.

Now focus on the matter, officers of both countries

The meeting between the business officials of the two countries was held at a time when the recipe of US President Donald Trump is going to be implemented from April 2. Trump launched a trade war with China after taking over the President for the second time in January this year. Also announced tariffs on Canada and Mexico. In this three -day dialogue between India and America in Delhi, both countries will focus on a framework that will benefit both.

America is a special relationship with India

Let us know that this meeting between the officials of the two countries is being held recently after the US visit of Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal. Here he met American trade representative Zamison Greyer and Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnik regarding the Indo-US Trade Agreement (BTA). According to the report of Hindustan Times, an official who has been aware of this conversation has said, “It has now been completely clear that America does not see India by associating with countries like China, Mexico and Canada.”

Discussion on ‘Indo-US Fast Track Mechanism’ on Wednesday began on Wednesday among the US team chaired by Brendan Lynch, an Indian officer and USA’s Assistant Trade Representative, headed by Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Rajesh Aggarwal. The report said that the framework of the bilateral trade agreement (BTA) is expected to be finalized by Friday.
