Trent shares crash: The shares of Tata Group company Trent Limited declined by 9 percent in early trade on Friday, July 4. The decline in shares came after warning of a possible recession in revenue growth in the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM). The share of Tata Group’s retail company Trent Limited slipped to Rs 5653 at 8.62 percent on BSE. Whereas in the last business session, closing was done at Rs 6186.40. Why did Trent’s shared bear?

In fact, in the meeting held yesterday, the management estimated only 20 percent growth in the company’s fashion business in the first quarter of FY 2026, which is much less than the 35 % CAGR (Compound Annual Growth Rate) of the last five years. However, the company also expected more than 25 % CAGR revenue growth in the coming years. After AGM, brokerage firm Nuwama cut the company’s revenue growth estimates for FY 2026 and 2027 respectively and cut 5 percent and 6 % respectively and cut 9 % and 12 percent in Ebitda respectively.

Titan shares: Global brokerage firm McVeri Tata Group’s company Titan retained its rating ‘Outporform’ on shares. This led to a rise in its shares on Tuesday. Brokerage also increased its target price for stock to Rs 4,150, which is about 18 percent more than its previous closed price.

His portfolio has 45,793,470 shares of Titan.

Company results in March quarter

Titan’s net profit was Rs 870 crore in the March quarter of 2025, which is 11 percent more than the same period last year. The company’s operational revenue increased by 20 percent to 13,477 crore. During this period, Titan’s jewelery business also rose by 25 percent to 11,232 crore, including 30 percent increase in sales of gold coins and 12 percent increase in Jadowe jewelery.

After this rating of McWery, on Wednesday, Titan’s shares rose 3.7 percent to 3,659 on Intrade High. With this, it is now only 5 percent away from its 52-week high level of 3,866.15 in September 2024. This year it reached a 52-week low of 2,947.55 in April.
