Dividend Stock: Tata Sons, the main holding company of Tata Group, has earned huge profits in the financial year 2026 and the company is in the mood to distribute some part of it among the investors as dividend.

According to the company’s annual financial report, this year it earned a profit of Rs 31,961 crore, which is 21.8% more than the Rs 26,232 crore earned in the last financial year. At the same time, during this period its total revenue increased by 9.1% to Rs 42,367 crore, which was Rs 38,835 crore in FY25. Now the company is preparing to distribute dividend to its investors.

Preparations underway to give bumper dividend

The board of directors of the company has recommended distribution of dividend of Rs 1,10,717 per share. The company had given a dividend of Rs 64900 per share last year. This means that compared to last year, this time the amount of dividend is being increased by a huge 70%.

If this is approved in the upcoming annual meeting (AGM) of shareholders, then Tata Sons will have to pay a total dividend of Rs 4475 crore. Since Tata Sons is not a listed company in the stock market, its benefit will not be available to common investors but to its key trusts and promoters.

Who will benefit?

Sir Dorabji Tata Trust will benefit the most from this dividend, which holds about 66% stake in Tata Sons. Tata Sons will pay it a huge dividend of Rs 1252 crore. Apart from this, Noel Tata, who holds 4060 shares of Tata Sons, will also get Rs 45 crore as dividend.
