Haryana’s Women Commission has taken legal action against the singer regarding the song. Now this controversy has increased so much that demands for the arrest of the singer have also started.

Arrest order issued
In fact, recently, Haryana Women Commission has issued an order to arrest Bollywood singer-rapper Badshah regarding the ‘Tatihari’ song controversy. Actually, the singer was to appear before the Women’s Commission today i.e. on 13th March, but the singer did not reach there. The lawyers appearing on his behalf argued that Badshah could not come because he was busy with some professional commitment. After which further time was sought from the Commission.

King’s passport will be confiscated
On this argument of Badshah’s lawyer, Women Commission Chairperson Renu Bhatia got angry in the meeting itself. He warned- ‘If the king does not appear by 3 o’clock, strict action will be taken against him’. After this he instructed Panchkula and Panipat SP to arrest him and confiscate his passport. He said that the passport should be confiscated to prevent the king from leaving the country. Now the Commission has come forward to save women and daughters.

Singer has apologized
Let us tell you that after the controversy escalated, Badshah shared a video on Instagram regarding this matter and apologized. Badshah said about his song in this video that he had no intention of hurting anyone’s sentiments. Along with apologizing, he immediately removed his song from every platform. However, this did not make any difference to the Women’s Commission and it is busy preparing for strict action against the singer.

Badshah has shared a video through his official Instagram account, in this video he apologized and said, ‘My new song has been released and I see that because of my lyrics and visual representation in a part of it, the message that has been sent has hurt the sentiments of many people, especially the people of my Haryana. First of all I would like to say that I myself am from Haryana. Those who know me, know that my dialect, food, lifestyle, my identity, everything is from Haryana.

‘I am a proud Haryanvi’
Badshah further said in this video, ‘I am a proud Haryanvi. I never had any intention to say such an absurd thing about any child or any woman of Haryana. I myself come from the hip-hop genre, where the lyrics often look down on the competition or are spoken about one’s rivals. Those words were never meant for any woman or child. Nor will I ever do that. I always tried to take forward the culture of Haryana. If anyone has been hurt by that part of the song, I wholeheartedly apologize to all of you. I hope that you will consider me as a son of Haryana and consider me as your son and forgive me. Along with this, in the caption, Badshah said that this song is being removed from every platform.

According to the official summons issued on March 6 regarding Badshah’s song, Badshah (Aditya Prateek Singh Sisodia) has been declared the primary respondent in this case. These documents have been issued in the name of the Superintendent of Police, Panipat and in this the local authorities have been instructed to ensure the presence of all concerned parties during the scheduled hearing. HSCW has fixed the date of hearing on March 13, 2026 at 11:30 am in the conference hall of DC office, Panipat, which will be presided over by Bhatia.

The video is objectionable
Not only have questions been raised regarding the lyrics of the song, the video of this song also shows girls in school dress. Regarding which the Commission says that such objectionable language should not be used in songs related to Haryanvi culture and society.
