Aadhaar OTP required for Tatkal ticket booking

Rules have now been changed by Indian Railways regarding Tatkal ticket booking. Now you will be able to book Tatkal tickets from IRCTC website or mobile app only. When your Aadhaar card will be linked to your IRCTC account. Today i.e. from July 15, this new rule has come into force.

Let me tell you that now whenever you book Tatkal tickets, before that, OTP will come on the mobile number linked to Aadhaar. Only after entering it, you will be able to book. Booking will not be done without that OTP.

In this way, do Aadhaar link with IRCTC account

If you have not linked Aadhaar to your IRCTC account. So immediately, its process is very easy. First of all you have to login on www.irctc.co.in website. You can also login in the app. After this you have to go to the My Account section. Then you have to select the option of Link Your Aadhaar. Here you have to enter your 12 -digit Aadhaar number.

And click on OTP generate. After this, OTP will come on the mobile number related to your Aadhaar. The verification process will be done by entering it. Your IRCTC account will be linked to Aadhaar.
