Assistant Teacher (Class 9th and 10th) – 23,212 posts
Assistant Teacher (Class 11th and 12th) – 12,514 posts
Total posts – 35,726

What should be educational qualification?

• For 9th and 10th- at least 50% marks in graduation or post graduation and B.Ed or four year BAED/B.Sc.Ed degree
• For 11th and 12th- At least 50% marks or B.Ed or equivalent degree in post graduation

Age limit

The at least 21 years of the applying candidates have been fixed at 21 years. While the maximum age of applying candidates is 40 years. On the other hand, SC/ST category will be given a discount of 5 years and 3 years to OBC and 8 years to PH candidates.

Application fee is to be paid so much

General class candidates applying will have to pay a fee of Rs 500. While the fee for SC/ST/PH category candidates has been kept at Rs 200.

How much will you get salary?

Selected candidates will get salary ranging from Rs 35,000 to Rs 65,000 every month. This amount will be decided according to experience and post.

Selection process

Candidates will be selected in two phases. This includes written examination and interview. There will be MCQ (multiple choice questions) in the written examination. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours. At the same time, language will be English and Bengali. The special thing in the exam is that there will be no negative marking.
