IND-A vs SA-A ODI Series: The second test match is being played between the A teams of India and South Africa. But the names of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have not been selected for this three-match ODI series against South Africa. Both these players are not part of India’s A team.

Rohit-Virat out of the team?

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been left out of the Indian squad for the three-match series against South Africa A. But both Rohit and Virat can be seen playing in Team India against the senior team of South Africa. During the Australia tour, Rohit Sharma scored more than 200 runs in just 3 matches. Virat Kohli also played a half-century in the last ODI against Australia.

Abhishek Sharma got a chance

In T20 cricket, star batsman Abhishek Sharma is waiting to join India’s ODI team. But before joining the senior Indian team, Abhishek is getting a place in the Indian A team. Abhishek also got a chance against Australia A. Abhishek had skipped his sister’s wedding just to get a place in India’s A team. Shubman Gill became captain in place of Rohit Sharma

The BCCI has created the new captain of the ODI team Shubman Gill. After Rohit Sharma’s Test and retirement from T20 International, now the captaincy of ODI has been taken away from him. Team India played the last ODI match in the final of the Champions Trophy 2025 on 9 March. India won this tournament under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, but even after this, Rohit has been removed from the captaincy and Shubman Gill has been made the captain of the ODI team.

Shreyas Iyer became vice -captain

After being out of the Asia Cup, Shreyas Iyer has been included in the ODI team. Iyer has been made the vice -captain of the team in the series against Australia. Shreyas Iyer Champions Trophy was also part of the team in 2025.

Jasprit Bumrah out

Jaspreet Bumrah has not been included in the team for the three -match ODI series against Australia. But the squad selected for the T20 series includes Bumrah. Bumrah has been rested for the ODI series. Bumrah has been playing continuously with Team India for a long time.
