Vaibhav Suryavanshi can debut for Team India very soon. Asian Games 2026 is to be held in the month of September-October this year. For them, Vaibhav has been included in the list of 30 probable players of Team India. Suryakumar Yadav and Shubman Gill have been kept out of this possible list.

According to news agency PTI, BCCI has sent the list of 30 probable players to the Indian Olympic Association. It has already been decided that BCCI will select two T20 teams. One will play in the Asian Games, which will be played in Japan from 19 September to 4 October. During this period, it will tour India for a series of five T20 matches.

The West Indies team’s tour of India will run from 27 September to 17 October. Both teams will play a series of three ODIs and five T20 matches.

Will Iyer become the captain?

Suryakumar Yadav will not play in the Asian Games. According to PTI, BCCI has excluded Suryakumar Yadav from the plans for the 2028 T20 World Cup. In such a situation, the question arises that who will captain Team India in the Asian Games? For this, three big names have come forward in the form of Shreyas Iyer, Tilak Verma and Sanju Samson.

Harshit Rana who was injured during the series against New Zealand. It is expected that Harshit will be completely fit by the Asian Games, hence he has been included in the probable list of 30 players.
