Amidst the ongoing tension between Iran, Israel and America, a video has gone viral on social media which has shocked people. While on one hand scary pictures of missile attacks and war were emerging, on the other hand this video from the streets of Tehran is telling a completely different story. In this video named “A day in Tehran during ceasefire”, the life of the city looks so normal that people are unable to believe that this is the same place where tension was at its peak recently.

Tehran’s ‘normal day’ went viral on social media

Actually, a user named Estelle shared this video on Instagram in which she is seen driving, shopping and eating on the streets of Tehran. In the video, she buys a cat plushie from the footpath, has lunch in the food court and also has Irani biscuits. Not only this, she is also seen trying Korean food. By evening, she reaches the lounge of a luxury hotel, where people are spending time comfortably without any fear.

The most important thing about the video is that there is no atmosphere of fear, chaos or war anywhere in it. Roads are normal, markets are open and people are seen living their daily lives. This is the reason why this video surprised people. Till now lakhs of people have watched this video and thousands of comments have been received.

People’s reaction increased the discussion

Social media users are giving different types of reactions after watching this video. One user wrote, “I wish the war ends, I would like to come here to visit”. While another said, “Life here is completely different from what is shown in the media”. Some people raised questions on the western media and said that many things about Tehran are exaggerated.

Tension continues on a large scale

However, the ground reality in this video is that the tension between Iran and America has not ended yet. US President Donald Trump has rejected Iran’s new proposal and the situation still remains serious. The tussle also continues over the Strait of Hormuz, where Iran and the US Navy are face to face.
