Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is the center of headlines in Pakistan these days. It is being claimed that the Balochistan government of Pakistan has included Salman’s name in the Fourth Schedule of the Anti-Terrorism Act (1997). This case has created a stir in India.

Tehseen Poonawala made sharp remarks
Meanwhile, political analyst and ex-contestant of ‘Bigg Boss 13’ Tehseen Poonawala gave his reaction on this entire incident. Making a sharp comment on Pakistan’s attitude, he said that no one should doubt the loyalty of India’s Muslims.

Tehseen said, ‘All Indian Muslims live for their tricolor and die for it. Our ancestors had chosen the Hindustan of Gandhi and Nehru and rejected the Pakistan of Jinnah.

Taking aim at Pakistan, Poonawalla further said, “No matter how hard Pakistan tries, Indian Muslims cannot be intimidated or deceived. Whether you spread fake news against the Muslims of India or make up stories of so-called atrocities, but every Muslim of India will remain loyal to his country.

Pay attention to the problems of your country- Poonawala
He gave a direct message to Pakistan Army Chief Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and said that he should focus on the problems of his country and not on the Muslims of India.

Giving the example of the Citizenship Act (CAA) in his statement, Tehseen Poonawala said, “If such a law comes in Pakistan which says that a Muslim suffering in India can take the citizenship of Pakistan, then how many Indian Muslims would want to do so?” The answer is- zero. Because Muslims are happy here.

How did the controversy start?
Let us tell you that the whole controversy started when Salman Khan had arrived with Shahrukh Khan and Aamir Khan at the Joy Forum 2025 organized in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. On this platform, Salman had said, “If you make a Hindi film at this time and release it here, it will be a superhit.”

If you make a Tamil, Telugu or Malayalam film, it will earn hundreds of crores of rupees because people from many countries live here. There are people from Balochistan, people from Afghanistan, people from Pakistan, everyone is working here.

In his statement, social media users of Pakistan got angry over counting Balochistan and Pakistan separately. Many people saw this statement as a question on the unity of Pakistan and called it an attempt to ‘describe Balochistan as a separate country’.

Political activist Tehsin Poonawala and musician Vishal Dadlani have got a big relief from the Supreme Court in the case of comment on Jain monk Tarun Sagar. The Supreme Court has abolished the fine of Rs 10 lakh lakh on both of them by Punjab-Haryana High Court. The Supreme Court has made important comments, saying that the work of the courts is not ‘moral policing’.

In 2016, Jain Muni was invited to the Haryana Legislative Assembly. His discourse was held there. Tahsin Poonawala and Vishal Dadlani had strongly criticized it on social media. An FIR was lodged in Ambala, stating the comments made by both as to hurt the sentiments of the Jain community and to spread communal disharmony.

Poonawala and Dadlani filed a petition in the High Court to cancel the FIR and stop the arrest. In the judgment in 2019, the High Court admitted that the statements of both of them do not cause sections 153A (spreading disharmony in society) and 295A (hurting religious sentiments). The High Court also cited the Fundamental Rights of freedom of expression (Article 19A) in its judgment. Based on all these things, the High Court canceled the FIR.

Despite cancellation of the FIR, the High Court fined both of them Rs 10 lakh for indecent remarks making fun of a famous saint. The High Court said that Jain monk Tarun Sagar’s contribution to the society is not as Poonawala and Dudlani. The High Court said that it is imposing this penalty so that in future, both the petitioners avoid saying that a saint mocking.

The Supreme Court had imposed an interim stay on the order of the High Court in 2019 itself. Now the bench of Justice Abhay S Oka and Justice Ujjwal Bhuiyan has canceled the order of the High Court. The judges have said that when the High Court could not find a crime case against both, there was no need to take further action. The High Court issued an order without issuing notice to the concerned parties, it was also wrong.

Keep in mind that after seeing the response of the society on his statement, Vishal Dadlani had apologized to public apology. He personally also regretted his statement by meeting Jain monk Tarun Sagar. Muni had forgiven both of them on his behalf, but by then a person had registered an FIR in Ambala. Now the final settlement of that case has been done.
