The alleged role of the Intelligence Bureau

According to the affidavit, Malik said that this meeting was not his independent initiative, but was held on the demand of senior Indian intelligence officials. According to that time IB Special Director V.K. Joshi met him in Delhi after a fierce earthquake in Kashmir in 2005 and requested that Pakistan’s political leadership as well as terrorist leaders, including Hafiz Saeed, should support the Prime Minister’s peace efforts.

Meeting Hafiz Saeed

Malik told in the affidavit that Saeed held a meeting of jihadi groups, in which he asked the terrorists to leave violence and take peace. He inspired the terrorists to adopt the path of peace, citing the teachings of the Quran. The meeting was made part of the political dispute years later, while Malik says it was a completely official initiative.

Malik made a big claim

Malik claimed that after returning from Pakistan IB He briefed him and asked him to meet the Prime Minister the same evening. In the meeting held in New Delhi, the then National Security Advisor M.K. Narayanan was also present. According to Malik, the Prime Minister appreciated his efforts, patience and dedication and called him “the father of the non -violent movement in Kashmir”.

Meeting with other political leaders

Malik told that he said that many top leaders like Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Sonia Gandhi, P. Chidambaram, I.K. Gujral and Rajesh met Pilot. According to him, after the arrest in 1990, six consecutive governments gave him an opportunity to speak on the Kashmiri issue and represent international forums.

Malik is also accused of killing four Indian Air Force officials in Srinagar in 1990 and the kidnapping of Rubia Syed, daughter of former Home Minister Windi Mohammad Syed. The exiled community of Kashmiri Pandits has held him responsible for violent migration and massacre from Kashmir for years.

NIA opposed the petition
On Tuesday, March 25, the NIA and Delhi Police, while presenting their stand in the High Court, said that it is not the constitutional right of any MP that they should join the session.
