He told, “At present, we are the largest automobile market in the world with Rs 22 lakh crore. America (Rs 78 lakh crore) is at number one and China (Rs 49 lakh crore) is second. In the next five years, we will be number one with more use of alternative fuel, improved cost and quality and electrification.

Work on Flexi Fuel Future

Both the automobile industry and the government are working on flexi-fuel. Nitin Gadkari said, “Tata, Mahindra, Suzuki, Hyundai seven or eight companies have already planned to make flexi fuels, while companies like Adani, Tata, Tata, Maruti, LG, Samsung have got approval to make lithium ion battery under a special scheme.”
