• In the year 2017, he started his journey with Tesla as Assistant Corporate Controller. Tesla’s corporate controller became in 2018. In 2019, he was promoted to the post of Chief Accounting Officer.
• In 2021, Vaibhav Tesla’s Indian subsidiary was appointed as the director of Tesla India Motors and Energy Private Limited.
• He was appointed Tesla’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in August 2023.
