An important achievement has been registered in the direction of further strengthening the defense capability of the country. The first flight test of India’s Pinaka Long Range Guided Rocket (LRGR) was successfully conducted on Monday. This test has been done in the Integrated Test Range located in Chandipur, Odisha.

This updated version rocket system developed by Defense Research and Development Organization (DRDO) has been designed for accurate firepower and long range effective strike. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated DRDO regarding this.

What information did the Defense Ministry give?

According to the Defense Ministry, the rocket successfully passed all the technical parameters during the test. It also proved its accuracy till the designated target areas. The Pinaka LRGR 120 rocket is an upgraded version of the conventional Pinaka Multi-Barrel Rocket System (MBRS).

It includes state-of-the-art guidance systems, improved range, improved navigation and greater accuracy. This rocket is capable of giving impressive performance even in difficult combat conditions and can bring a big change in the artillery capability of the Indian Army.

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated DRDO

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh congratulated DRDO and all concerned partner organizations on the success of the test. He said that this achievement takes India’s indigenous defense technology to new heights and makes the nation’s strategic power more credible.

The Defense Minister described this test as an important step towards ‘self-reliant India’. He termed it an important milestone in increasing the firepower of the armed forces. Successful development of long range guided rocket will prove to be a game changer for the Indian defense system.

What did the defense experts tell?

According to defense experts, this successful test will give the Indian Army precise long-range attack power. This is in line with the needs of border security and battlefield. Fully development of the system will pave the way for inclusion in the army.

All advanced tracking equipment deployed at the range monitored the trajectory of the rocket throughout its flight. This rocket has been developed by the Armament Research and Development Establishment, with the support of High Energy Materials Research Laboratory, Defense Research and Development Laboratory and Research Center Building.

The testing was coordinated by ITR and Proof and Experimental Establishment. Notably, the test fired the LRGR from the Army’s standard Pinaka launcher, proving that it was possible to launch Pinaka rockets with different ranges from a single launcher.

What did DRDO Chairman Sameer V Kamat say?

Dr. Sameer V. Kamat, Secretary, Department of Defense Research and Development and Chairman, DRDO, congratulated all the scientists and technical teams on the success of the mission and described it as a major achievement of Indian indigenous defense technology.

It is noteworthy that the successful testing of Pinaka LRGR 120 will provide new strength to the artillery capability of the Indian Army. Precise strike capability can play a decisive role in future war scenarios, ensuring strategic advantage in border areas.

Infosys included in large software companies were recently trimmed in large numbers. The Karnataka government’s Labor Ministry investigated the sorting at the company’s Mysuru campus. The interim report of this investigation states that no labor law has been violated by the company.

A media Report It is reported that officials of the State Labor Department visited the Masuru Campus of Infosys. The company has informed about its hiring process and the reason for the sorting of the freshers. A government official said that Infosys has given clear information to its workers in communication and no labor law has been violated. The Labor Department of Karnataka will submit a detailed report by next week. The Central Labor and Employment Ministry had directed the Labor Ministry of Karnataka to take necessary steps to resolve the issue of pruning a large number of freshers in the company.

Infosys had reported that he had trimmed around 300 freshers. These workers could not pass the company’s internal tests. IT workers’ Union Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES) had raised the issue of freshers trimmed at the Masuru Campus of Infosys in front of the Central Government’s Labor Ministry. The Labor Ministry had said, “The Karnataka government is requested to investigate the matter.” NITES had reported that Infosys had trimmed around 700 workers. These workers were joined by the company a few months ago.

NITES said that the dismissed freshers were forced to sign the agreement -related agreement, which is an attempt to hide the details of the trimming. There was also apprehension about this retrenchment and impact on the workers under its purview. In a letter to the Labor Ministry, NITES had said, “We have revealed from many complaints received by the affected workers that Infosys has forcibly dismissed the freshers who recently joined. There was a delay of two years after getting these workers’ offer letters.”

Hundreds of freshers were trimmed recently in Infosys included in large software companies. The Union of IT workers has complained to the central government against this layoffs. Earlier, the Labor Ministry of Karnataka had said after preliminary investigation into the case that Infosys had not violated the rules.

A media Report According to, Nascent Information Technology Employees Senate (NITES) has complained to Minister of Education, Dharmendra Pradhan and Minister of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Jayant Chaudhary on the trim of freshers in Infosys. The President of NITES, Harpreet Singh Saluja alleged that Infosys joined the new graduates under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) in October last year. The legally bound apprenticeship contracts were contract with these workers. However, Infosys has removed these freshers without following the legal process by violating the Apprenticeship Act.

Under this law, approval from the Apprenticeship Advisor is necessary for the dismissal of apprentice. Along with this, apprentices should get a chance to present their case. NITES has demanded an immediate inquiry into the illegal dismissal of freshers on behalf of Infosys. Infosys confirmed the trimming of about 300 freshers. The company had said that these workers could not pass internal tests. However, NITES said that Infosys had trimmed around 700 workers.

Along with this, NITES stated that the dismissed freshers were forced to sign the agreement related to privacy, which is an attempt to hide the details of the layoffs. NITES had expressed apprehension about this trimming and impact on the workers under its purview. Earlier, in a letter to the Labor Ministry, NITES said, “We have come to know from many complaints received by the affected workers that Infosys has forcibly dismissed the freshers who recently joined. There was a delay of two years after getting these workers’ offer letters.” However, Infosys had reported that workers who were dismissed had failed to pass internal tests. The company had said that this method is according to the agreement signed by workers during hiring.
