Investigation report sought within 7 days
Thailand’s Home Minister Anutin Charanviku has sought the findings of the investigation within seven days. He said, ‘Thailand will soon find out why the building collapsed. It was just made and should have been designed to withstand the earthquake.

The Home Minister said, ‘The earthquake was of intensity of 7.7 but more than 95% of the buildings were faced. Only the state audit building collapsed. This building was new. Therefore, it should have faced earthquake. He said that the investigation will focus on architects, construction supervisors and builders. In this case, Thai and Chinese partners will have to share responsibility.

Chinese employees stole documents
During this time, four Chinese employees were also questioned for efforts to disappear the documents related to the construction of this building. 32 files were found from containers behind the collapsed building.
