‘The Diplomat’ opened its account at the box office with Rs 4.03 crore. Despite the weekend on the second and third day, the film was able to earn only 4.68 crores and 4.74 crores. The collection of the fourth day of the film was Rs 1.53 crore and the collection of fifth day was Rs 1.51 crore. On the sixth day, ‘The Diplomat’ did business of Rs 1.52 crore and Rs 1.44 crore on the seventh day.

The release of ‘Tumko Meri Kasam’ did not affect
John Abraham’s ‘The Diplomat’ collected Rs 19.45 crore in a week. At the same time, with the eighth day collection, the film has crossed the 20 crore mark. On Friday (March 21), Ada Sharma and Anupam Kher’s film Tumko Meri Kasam has been released, despite John’s film has done a good collection. According to Caiknilk, the film has earned Rs 1.25 crore in India on the 8th day.

‘The Diplomat’ has been directed by Shivam Nair under the banner of T-Series. This film is an inspiration from the life of Indian Diplomat JP Singh. In the film, John Abraham plays JP Singh who brings an Indian girl trapped in Pakistan back to her country. Apart from John, Sadia Khatib has appeared as a lead actress in the film. Apart from this, Kumud Mishra, Sharib Hashmi and Revathi are also part of the film.
