The dispute regarding leadership and ticket distribution within RJD is continuously increasing in Bihar. RJD’s women state president Ritu Jaiswal, opening a front against the party, has made it clear that if she is not given the ticket from Parihar, she will contest the elections as an independent candidate. He says that he has closely felt the soil of Parihar and the joys, sorrows, struggles and expectations of the people. Therefore, it is unacceptable for him to contest elections from any other constituency.

Ritu Jaiswal told that as soon as the discussion spread that she could be given ticket from Belsand instead of Parihar, the people of Parihar started sending her support messages through social media and phone. People had only one appeal – ‘Madam, don’t leave Parihar.’ This public support proved to be very important for him emotionally.

He said that this decision is not easy, but it also respects the voice of his mind and the feelings of the people of Parihar.

From Kishanganj, Congress has given ticket to Kamrul Hoda, who was first in AIMIM and later in RJD. Similarly, Irfan Alam has been fielded from Kasba seat. It is being told that due to the displeasure of Purnia MP Pappu Yadav, Irfan got the chance in place of Afaq Alam. Jitendra Yadav has been given ticket from Purnia and Mahendra Srivastava from Gaya Nagar.

On the other hand, nomination of LJP (Ram Vilas) candidate Seema Singh on Marhaura seat was cancelled, due to which RJD candidate Jitendra Rai is likely to get the lead. As the elections are coming closer, the politics of alliances is getting more complicated and the picture still remains blurry for the voters.
