Cities in India are generally divided into three parts on the basis of their development, population, facilities and business opportunities. Tier-1, Tier-2 and Tier-3. Tier 2 cities are moderately developed, like Lucknow or Jaipur, where the facilities are good, but not as many as metro cities or slightly less. Tier 3 cities are small and developing, where it is not easy to create space without causing havoc.

In small homes, instead of knocking down walls, rearranging furniture, removing unnecessary items and promoting natural light are more practical solutions.
