Apple Q4 Revenue: iPhone maker Apple earned a record revenue of $102.5 billion in the July-September quarter. This is 8 percent more than last year. Strong sales of iPhone in a country like India is also responsible for this growth of Apple.

Announcing fourth quarter results on Thursday, CEO Tim Cook also focused on the launch of the iPhone 17 lineup, AirPods Pro 3 and the new Apple Watch. He said during this time, “Apple is very proud to have achieved a record revenue of $ 102.5 billion in the September quarter. This also includes the record revenue of the September quarter for iPhone and the record revenue of all time for Services.

Apple’s business is increasing

Cook said that Apple is expanding its reach at the global level. Apple achieved record revenue in many places from America and Europe to South Asia. Among these, India is at all-time-high.

Cook says, “We have achieved growth in most of the markets we focus on. We have recorded record September quarter revenues in dozens of markets, including the US, Canada, Latin America, Western Europe, the Middle East, Japan, Korea and South Asia. We have also recorded record September quarter revenues in emerging markets and the largest-ever record revenue in India.”

Cook also emphasized Apple’s growing presence in the retail segment. Under this, keeping in mind the festive season, new stores are being opened in India, United Arab Emirates, America and China.

Apple’s revenue reached 49 billion dollars

Apple’s CFO Kevan Parekh said that iPhone revenue reached $49 billion, which shows an increase of 6 percent year-on-year. The main reason for this is the iPhone 16 family, which delivered record performance in emerging markets including Latin America, the Middle East and India. “Our installed base of active devices across all categories has reached an all-time high,” Parekh said.

Apple, a American devices maker popular iPhone worldwide, plans to open new retail stores in India soon. The company’s CEO, Tim Cook recently gave this information during the announcement of the company’s results. This will make it easier for Apple to increase its sales in India.

Cook had said that the company plans to open new retail stores by the end of this year. He said that Apple is seeing opportunities to reach more customers by increasing their retail presence in Emerging Markets. Cook had reported, “We have recently launched Apple Store in Saudi Arabia. We are excited to start new stores in India and United Arab Emirates by the end of this year. We are happy to welcome customers at a new location of Osaka in Japan.” However, Cook has not given the locations of new stores or any other information.

Apple sales in India have increased rapidly over the years. The company opened two retail stores in the country about two years ago. Earlier this year, Cook had said that the company plans to open four new stores in the country. The company’s current stores are in Delhi and Mumbai. Recently, a media report stated that Apple plans to open new stores in Sky City Mall in Borivili, Mumbai and Finix Mall of Asia in Bangalore. Two stores of the company can also be opened in Noida’s DLF Mall of India in Uttar Pradesh and Kopa Mall in Pune.

India has the highest shipment of iPhone 16 in the second quarter of this year in the second quarter of this year. In the second quarter, the segment of the Ultra-Permina smartphone (a price of more than Rs 45,000) has increased by about 37 percent on a year-by-year basis. Apple and South Korean smartphone maker Samsung has retained its strong position in this segment. No-cost EMI offers, trade-in programs and special summer discounts are the main reasons behind the increase in sales of these companies.

Apple growth in india: Apple CEO Tim Cook business is happy with the result of the first quarter (April-June) of 2025-26. He said that the company has achieved record revenue in the June quarter in more than two dozen countries and regions of the world including India. During a conversation with analysts, Cook said that the growth in the double digit in iPhone, Mac and other services gave this result.

Cooks happy with the growth of the company

Cook says, we have seen amazing growth in all the markets around the world. The growth of iPhone has been revealed everywhere. Emerging markets like India, Middle East, South Asia and Brazil have increased double digits. The result of Mac has also been excellent and the revenue has gained 15 percent in a year. The company has recently launched an online Apple store in Saudi Arabia and we are very excited to open more new stores in the United Arab Emirates and India by the end of this year. “

Apple business is growing in India

Tarun Pathak, director of Counterpoint Research, says that Apple’s business in India is growing rapidly and the company has achieved another record breaking growth with double digit growth in the June quarter. In a conversation with the news agency IANS, he gave this information. According to the Counterpoint, in this quarter, iPhone has achieved a revenue of 23 percent with 7 percent sales and the iPhone 16 was the best selling model in this segment, which is a major reason for this growth.

This is the company’s plan regarding India

Cook said that most of the iPhones sold in America are now made in India. According to Counterpoint Research, India’s contribution to the total shipment of iPhone in the US increased to 71 percent in the second quarter, which is 31 percent more than last year. Apple’s plan is to increase its presence in India by opening new retail stores by the end of this year, which is an important part of his strategy to increase the scope of its business in the country.

On the tariff’s front, Tim says, the company had to bear about $ 800 million in the June quarter alone. It is a matter of September quarter, then if there is no change in the tariff rates or no new tariff is added, then our cost is expected to increase by about $ 1.1 billion. However, for the coming quarters, the same guess should not move forward because the situation can change due to many other things besides tariffs.

Donald Trump New tariff: IPhone maker Apple has announced its result for the first quarter (April-June) of 2025-26. During this period, the company’s revenue was recorded at $ 94.04 billion (about 8.21 lakh crore rupees), which is 10 percent more than the same period last year. Whereas, Wall Street had estimated a revenue of about $ 89 billion (about 7.77 lakh crore rupees).

America’s trade policy pressure

For the first time after 2021, the growth of the company has risen such a boom, which points to its return to its return. However, in the meantime, Apple CEO Tim Cook mentioned the increasing pressure of US tariffs on electronics products being prepared worldwide including India.

Announcing the quarterly result of the company, he said that most of the iPhone sold in America are made in India. In such a situation, Apple is also not untouched by the financial pressure born from the new wave of America’s trade policy.

The company worries about the increasing burden of tariff

The CEO of the company said, “India is also included in its fastest emerging markets for iPhone. Most of the products of Apple also come under investigation under Section 232. Also, in the fourth quarter alone, one can face $ 1.1 billion tariffs. Even though Apple has shifted a large part of its iPhone production to India, but the burden of tariffs still remains, especially due to the IEEPA (International Emergency Economic Powers Act) tariffs targeted.

Let me tell you that IEEPA is a law made in 1977, which is usually used to restore or seize the property, but Trump used it to impose tariffs.

Trump threatened Cook

Cook said, “Most of the iPhones sold in the US are now made in India. Mac, iPads and Watch sold in America are mainly made in Vietnam. Also, products sent to other international markets still come from China on a large scale.” Here, Trump is strongly against the installation of Apple factories in India.

He had told the CEO of the company that India is one of the most tariffs imposing the most tariffs, so they do not want Apple products to be made in India. He had warned Cook through his social media platform Truth, saying that if the iPhone is built out of the US, the company would have to pay at least 25 percent tariffs.

Apple’s growing scope in India

Despite this, India is becoming a hub of iPhone production due to the country’s policy, cost and talent. The company is wooing the government like the government’s Make in India in India and is also less with the help of import tax and labor costs in India, so the company is developing the infrastructure necessary for electronics manufacturing with the help of the government.

Investment plan in America too

Despite these challenges, Cook also announced a big investment of $ 500 billion in the US in the next four years. He has also announced to set up a new AI server factory in Texas from doubling his advanced manufacturing funds.

Also read:

Why did the electronics industry survive the tariff? From laptop to smartphone exports will not be taxed

Apple, a popular iPhone creation worldwide, has reported that it has shown three billion units of this smartphone since the launch. The company’s Tim Cook said that since its launch about 18 years ago, Apple has recently achieved the achievement of three billion units of iPhone.

The company has a revenue of $ 94.4 billion (about Rs 8.22 lakh crore) in the third quarter of this year. This is an increase of about percentage compared to the same period of the previous year. The iPhone accounts for about 50 percent in this revenue. Apple completed its one billion units of its shipment in 2016 after the launch of the iPhone. However, the company did not say when the shipment figure of two billion units of the iPhone was achieved. It is estimated that it would take less than four years to reach the shipment of three billion units of the iPhone after this.

Apple received a profit of $ 23.42 billion (about 2.04 lakh rupees) in the third quarter. The company’s MAC and iPad have been at $ 8.05 billion (about 0.70 lakh crore rupees) and $ 6.58 billion (about 0.57 lakh crore rupees) respectively. The sales of iPhones are also increasing in India. Apple’s iPhone 16 has the highest shipment in the second quarter of this year in the country. The company is expected to ship around 28 million iPhone in India in the second quarter. This will increase by about 20 percent on a year-on-year basis. Despite the weak season in the country’s smartphone market and the scorching heat in many states, iPhone sales are likely to be strong.

The company’s sales in the country have also increased with discounts and financed options on iPhones. Apple opened two retail stores in India about two years ago. Apple plans to start new stores in the country soon. Earlier this year, Cook had said that the company plans to open four new stores in the country. The company’s current stores are in Delhi and Mumbai. Apple plans to open new stores in Sky City Mall in Borivili, Mumbai and Finix Mall of Asia in Bangalore.

Jensen huang: There was a time when in Trump’s first term, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook was considered the mastermind of business relations between the US and China. He formed a strong relationship with the Trump administration and did not distance from Beijing. As a result, Apple was saved from American tax and continuously developing in China. But in Trump’s second term, the situation has changed. Now Apple’s crown is the head of Nvidia and its CEO Jenson Huang is being seen today as America’s most influential tech leader. The success of Nvidia in the world of AI has made Huang not just a businessman but a global political face.

AI’s strength and Huang’s rise

The Wedbush Analyst Dan Iaves says, “The role of Nvidia’s chips in the AI revolution has brought Huang ahead of Tim Cook.” He believes that today the major chip that gives strength to AI in the whole world is only of NVIDIA. Recently Huang visited Beijing, where he announced to resume the sale of NVIDIA H20 AI chip.

These chips were banned on sale to China earlier this year, but Huang openly opposed it and lobbied against it. Their efforts brought color and now America has relaxed this decision.

Politics rises in politics

It is clear from this historic victory that Huang’s impact on Trump administration is increasing. He had met Trump at Washington DC before leaving for China. Their effect as a result of his ban on the H20 chip was softened. According to experts, Huang explained to the US administration that prohibiting the chip could weaken America’s technical growth and would benefit Chinese companies.

NVIDIA has also recently dealt with hundreds of thousand AI chips to UAE in which Huang played an important role with Trump. The deal strengthens the global tech leadership of America, especially compared to companies like Huawei of China.

Tim Cook and Musk followed

Earlier it was believed that in Trump’s second term, Alan Musk would be the closest tech leader of the administration but his relationship with Trump is no longer sweet. At the same time, Tim Cook is now facing criticism of the administration, especially when Apple starts construction units in India.

Trump administration advisor Peter Navaro recently criticized Cook, saying that he is very slow in removing manufacturing from China. Cook and Apple, once considered the most influential, are now looking back in the political field.

Future uncertainty remains intact

Although Huang’s influence is currently at the top, experts believe it is not permanent. According to Paul Tricolol of DGA-Alberite Stonbridge Group, the policy of Trump administration has been continuously changing, which requires huge losses and re-designs to companies.

Apart from this, the US is currently investigating the semicondia sector, so that NVIDIA can once again be targeted by the policies of the Trump government. Even though Nvidia is doing some construction in America, but a large part of it is still in Taiwan.

Apple iPhone: US President Donald Trump on Friday warned Tim Cook, CEO of iPhone company Apple, that if he leaves the US and produces iPhone in India or any other country, he will have to pay at least 25 percent tariffs. Here, after the tariff war between China and the United States, the company has made complete preparations to shift its manufacturing base from China to India. Now the question comes whether the cooks will bend in front of Trump’s threats?

India trusts this matter

Quoting some sources, CNN-News18 has informed in its report that the central government is optimistic that there will be no change in the decision of a big tech company like Apple to create its manufacturing unit in India. In this, the company will give more attention to its profit instead of any political pressure. There are many advantages of making iPhones in India such as low cost, encouragement from the government, strengthening of supply chain, etc., the company will give more priority to these benefits.

There is so much iPhone production in India

A government official told the news channel that he is sure that Apple would crush the profit despite Trump’s pressure. At present, Apple does not make smartphones in America. Most iPhones are made in China, while in India there are now about 15 percent of Apple’s total production, which is about 40 million units annually. In the financial year ended on March 31, Apple assembled more than 60 % iPhone in India, the estimated production value of $ 22 billion.

What is the disadvantage of iPhone in America?

Market experts also say that if the iPhones made in India start being made in the US, then its price will increase from $ 1,500 to 3,500 dollars. That is, people in America will have to pay double money for iPhone.

CNN’s data analyst Harry Anton also says that if Trump thinks that the company will start making iPhones in America by just putting tariffs, then he is living in confusion. If a tariff is also imposed on the iPhone coming to America from outside, then the company will either bear that cost itself or put its burden directly on the consumers. Anyway, Cook has already told that due to harsh labor law, decrease in tooling engineers, lack of supply chains, making iPhone is not a profitable deal here.
