When is the next holiday?

There are no other holidays this month after today. Now the next holiday will be on 1st December because on this day State Foundation Day and Indigenous Faith Day will be celebrated in some selected places like Itanagar and Kohima respectively. Apart from this, according to the holiday list of RBI, banks will remain closed in many different states between November 5 and 9. However, there will be no bank holiday across the country simultaneously. Along with being closed on all Sundays, banks will also remain closed on 22nd November, which is the fourth Saturday of the month.

Today, on June 28, 2025, banks will remain closed across the country as this is the fourth Saturday of the month. According to the calendar of the Calendar of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), banks are closed on the second and fourth Saturdays and all Sundays every month. Typically, banks remain closed on weekends except on first, third and fifth Saturdays.

Apart from this, banks are closed on national, regional and religious festivals. On this basis, the holidays of banks vary in different states, so customers must see the list of holidays before going to the branch. Today, after June 28, the bank will remain closed on Sunday, June 29. On June 30, in Mizoram, Remna will be closed on the occasion of Ni.

There is nothing to panic due to the closure of the bank because online banking service will remain operational. Customers will be able to handle work like online transaction, bill payment and balance check using digital services like ATM, Net Banking, Mobile Banking and UPI. However, by going to the branch, you will not be able to do check clearance, passbook updates and cash depositing or withdrawing during this period.

June 11 (Wednesday) – Sant Guru Kabir Jayanti / Saga Dawa – Banks were closed in Sikkim and Himachal Pradesh.

27 June (Friday) – Rath Yatra / Kang (Rathjatra) – Banks were closed in Odisha and Manipur.

June 30 (Monday) – Banks will remain closed in REMNA NI – Mizoram.
