This is the incident of April 27, 1993 and no one thought that the dead bodies would be seen lying on the beach with the rising sun the next morning. For the 1994 FIFA World Cup qualifier match, Zambia’s football team was to go to Dakar (Senegal’s capital) for the match against Senegal. The Air Force of Jambia had arranged a special aircraft for its team. The aircraft was to stop 3 times for refueling to cover a distance of about 6,000 km from Jambia to Senegal.

The aircraft had 25 passengers and five crew members, including players and support staff of the Zambian football team. The flight took the first stop for refueling at Brazavil (Central Africa), where there was some problem in the engine, despite the aircraft flew from the first stop and for the second time the land was landed on the Liberville (west coast of Africa) for refueling. When the plane flew from Liberville Airport after refueling, the engine caught fire after a few moments.

The pilot accidentally stopped the engine on the right. It was also revealed that the fatigue of the pilot and the poor equipment were a major reason for the plane crash. Since the pilot had stopped the wrong engine, the aircraft crashed into the water 500 meters away. In 2003, a report was released in Gabon country, claiming that the pilot had made a mistake due to the defect of the warning light. All 18 players of the Zambian team as well as the national coach were also killed in the incident.

Us gujarati man shot dead: A heartbreaking incident has come to light in Virginia, USA, where 56 -year -old Pradeep Patel and his 24 -year -old daughter Urmi Patel were shot dead. Pradeep died on the spot, while his daughter Urmi died in the hospital after two days. The police have arrested a suspect in this regard, but the purpose of the attack is not yet clear.

This terrible incident took place on the morning of March 20, when Pradeep Patel and his daughter Urmi reached their convenience store. As soon as he opened the shop, a person entered inside and started firing bullets on them. The attacker has been identified as George Fragier Devon Wharton, who has been arrested by the police. Pradeep died on the spot, while Urmi died in the hospital after two days.

Family situation
Pradeep Patel and his family belong to Kanoda village in Mehsana district of Gujarat. In 2019, the Patel family, who went to the US on a visitor visa, decided to settle there permanently and managed a facility store a few months ago. Pradeep is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son. His daughter Urmi was married three years ago. The family said that Urmi will be cremated in America itself.

Fear of attack
Family members believe that the attacker was already hidden near the shop and as soon as Pradeep and Urmi reached the shop, they attacked. This incident has created deep resentment and mourning among the people of Gujarat. Pradeep’s cousin, who operates another nearby store, said that the incident is another example of the link of attacks on the Gujarati community in the US.
