On July 3, there is a possibility of heavy rains again in Bageshwar, Rudraprayag and Nainital.

Strict instructions given to officers
The state government has instructed all the District Magistrates to ensure necessary preparations. The local administration has been asked to monitor the movement, increase monitoring in sensitive areas and keep relief teams deployed. All officers and departmental nodal officers associated with disaster management will be on high alert.

Departments like National Highway, Public Works Department, PMGSY, ADB, BRO, CPWD have been asked to make arrangements to open it immediately if a road is interrupted due to rain.
